It’s been updated slightly. Not as bad now
Looks slightly better with black instead of gold. Still shit though, it'd be too big on the shirt, and it's got blue in it, which is a big no. Don't even think it'd look any better just having USG and not the logo, the letters are huge. Something that takes up hardly any space on the shirt, like Capital One, would be much better.

Am I missing something, has anyone confirmed these are our shirt sponsors?

They said this is the closest one to it.

Only time will tell. End of the month they said it should be.
Looking forward to it then. We’ve not used red trim anywhere near enough over the years for our change kits. There’s loads that would’ve worked better with red.

Light grey Away surely means a striped back home shirt too rather than all white?

Depends on what Adidas brief is. All Adidas shirts with stripes had a solid coloured back. Only way to tell is too look for a teams kit out now who used Adidas that has stripes. Watford and Juve kits are out but they are half and half now rather than stripes

There you go then, we'll be half & half too..... 🤔

I hear from a VERY reliable source that it is a plain back. Unconfirmed whether it is red or white though.

Where's the other kit thread gone?

Did someone post something too accurate?

I think the sponsor was posted correctly, so the numerous posts slagging said sponsors crap logo off probably isn't the best thing to have open to all on General Blades Chat. Maybe.

It is crap though 😁

Righto. Might be time for Kit thread 3 then. 😁

Not the one with the mutant Union Flag as part of it? 😱

Missed this, who is rumoured to be the sponsor?
Not sure whether it was the revealing of the alleged sponsor themselves that resulted in the thread disappearing or the remarks about the look/quality of their logo.

I’ll not name them if that is the reason, but their logo is an a version of the union flag with 3 capital letters. Not a company I’ve heard of (or one I have any idea what they really do having looked at their website). But it’s not awful by any means.

(I assume someone will have already named them again and called their logo w*nk in the time it took me to post this).

Big club now tha knows
We might be a big club now, but looking at their website they don't seem overly established (I appreciate that this is annoying for people that haven't seen the company name and want to, but there is no point me naming them again here if it means that this message/thread ends up being removed as well).

You would assume that the type of business that looks to advertise as a main shirt sponsor for a premier league team would be an established brand. Not necessarily an established brand in Sheffield, or even Europe, but somewhere in the world, at the very least in the place they appear to be headquartered. But this companies main "brand" video on Youtube has 3k views. The 2nd most viewed video has 168... I also can't find any sign that they have ever advertised with any other team or event (I obviously haven't listened to all the worlds radio and TV so cant comment there) but this seems to be their first go at advertisement/sponsorship.

If you type their name into Google the 2nd most popular result is "company name" scam. The most popular is "company name" review, which brings up websites showing only a handful of complementary reviews left within a few days of each other a year or so ago. Obviously if the money is good and Utd actually see the money then fair enough.

Apologies if it was the club that asked for the other thread to be pulled for a while for whatever reason, I appreciate the above probably reads worse than "that's a shit logo". I'd guess they asked you to pull it as they want to announce it and it not break here (we are still still watching that space!). People were/are going to Google them anyway, just a case of when. Given that I'm a nobody on a forum talking about something I know nothing about hopefully they won't be too upset. Fell free to remove this and thoroughly tell me off if needs be though.

Just had a look and “Company Name” have a huge twitter following of 3421, compare this to commercial department of SUFC with 6870 followers.

It would be very Sheff United to unveil a big new sponsor then have to change it mid season when the bill never gets paid and the club is out of pocket.
