And with only 20 games left we need 34 points to go up....I reckon 90 will be enough to make it safe.

So 10 more wins, 3 or 4 draws is certainly looking likely, and even then I can't see us losing more than 4 games between now and seasons end. Truthfully, I would be surprised if we lost 2!

It really is ours to throw away. And I can see us winnin that next 3 games going into February.

Anyone think we could go unbeaten in 2017 in L1?

That would be 22 games, and a hell of a feat. Would be very nice to get 100 points and really go up in style after all the years making a horlicks of it. We could actually be pretty much up by March if we carry on the results as we have the last 10.

Bolton are 2 games behind (points wise ) already , as I've said before 100 points 100 goals and that was before our first amazing run .

The second half of the season looks fairly difficult but there are still at least 10 games that we should be clear favourites to win. We've not slipped up in these games all season, and I don't see that changing - the mentality is too good, the manager prepares them too well and we'll only be stronger after January.

Average two points a game from now it's 96 points.

I am pretty sure that would be enough.

Oh Shit. Pass me the valium.

Always no matter where you are in the league. As long pts double the games you would have to be extremely unlucky to not achieve promotion with 92pts which would be 36pts 10 wins 6 draws & 4 losses would see it. But strangely i dont know where our next loss is coming. As everytime i think this could be tricky we win

But I've said before on mk dons trip thread this pre planning is worrying me Because this is far too comfatable for my liking where the usual heart attack inducing stress im used to over years

Caution. We did slip up at home to Walsall.

This is the time of the season when it gets hard, even the teams low down are fighting for their lives and can/will pick up points anywhere. Having said that we have nothing and no one to fear let the others worry about us the Southend result says to the rest that we are the team to beat and heaps the pressure on Bolton even though they have a game in hand. I'd rather be where we are than one of the chasers lets hope we can bag even more points while they fuck about in the FA cup us and Scunny to fight it out for top spot.

#homeform enough said....Solid at the lane and pick up as many points in the road as possible.

If we don't go up from here even I would be suprised. There is no way even we can fuxk this up now

Really?

We have done great but there is a long way to go. As others have said this is United we are talking about. We have a history of choking.

Lets just keep racking up the wins and not look too far forward.

We have 4 really winnable games now (3 at home) and then the tough month from mid Feb to mid March with 6 or 7 very tough games but we have proven today we can beat even the decent teams. It is about us not other teams. I feel confident but a few injuries or a run of losses and you never know.

I think Wilder's confidence in the players will see us through. Slowly slowly through the season as momentum has built he has bigged them up and what they are capable of. At one point in the interview yesterday, I thought he was going to say 'fuck it, we're going to smash it'

I think we have enough already to finish the job, yet if we could just add one or two more to add real completion to the 1st 11 like Carrutthers then injury and form can by bypassed.

I think this will be another one of those years where there are a lot of teams with a lot of points, we haven't got the better of 3 of those yet and even though we battered Southend yesterday they've still got the better of us over the season! It'll go down to the wire.

Just wish people could just stop piling pressure on the players. Enjoy the current season under a fantastic manager and a superb team. Every win is a bonus, can we just take it as it comes? Everyone at the club knows winning every match is vital for us to go up. They dont need us to constantly put pressure on them

to be fair we gave them 3 goals at home , with a back 3 of long brayford and hussey weve improved a bit since then
we went there yesterday with them on a 15 game unbeaten run and taught them a lesson
we drew at scunny ,should have won, lost at millwall due to a daft handball and lost at bolton again with that back 3 and were worth a point
we have 10 away games left and only rochdale and bristol rovers look capable of offering resistance to this team

scunny have took 8 points from their last 6 games and sky said they were lucky to end up winning v bury yesterday
