Think he means that our goal difference is so superior that it's like having an extra point.

So although the gap is 11 points on Blackburn, they need to pull back 12 points to overtake us.

yes he took us up officially in May 2006 but at this time of year was the last game of the calendar year which was 2005 which is what we are comparing to as its the end of this calendar year.
