Some of you may not have been around back then but @tufty_club are doing a series of pods looking back at the 1990 promotion season and also the BBC United Series - links below - hope Ron_Justice does not mind me posting his links!

Hopefully those who remember that season can discuss the season, series and our pods - try to keep the first two about the players and then the wives first - but thought it might be a good discussion. May also put some quizzes etc on here

I right enjoyed all three episodes. I found it best to listen to the pods, then watch the episodes.

I met Keith Broughton at the 25th anniversary bash for the 1990 promotion; he said he was keeping his head down in case any of the players recognised him. He was actually a very entertaining and likeable chap.
