nah, the pub is in the middle of the west street tram stop and the uni tram stop.

I'll be walking back again like i did last year.

Morgan is doubtful according to yesterday's YEP: LINKY

Sheffield United skipper Chris Morgan is already a big doubt for next Sunday's Steel City derby.

Morgan missed last Saturday's victory against Bristol City with a calf strain and is rated as no better than "touch and go" by boss Kevin Blackwell.

The centre-half is now having intensive treatment and Blackwell hopes the fact Morgan sat out the Bristol City game last weekend will lead to him being fit.

"He might have played on Saturday, but we cannot afford to risk losing one of our centre-backs," said Blackwell.

"He stood down for the good of the team and Ugo Ehiogu stepped up."

Fourth in the league, October promises to be a big month for the Blades with home clashes against Southampton and Preston following the Sheffield derby.

Southampton visit Bramall Lane just two days after the big derby on Tuesday, October 21 while Preston's visit comes four days later.

The Blades finish the month with the return league clash at Bristol City on Tuesday, November 28.

United are currently a best priced 14-1 for the Championship title – generally fourth favourites behind Birmingham, Reading and Wolves respectively.

Apparently, a whopping 26000 tickets have been sold so far...

The little piggies obvisouly aren't that confident in winning this one

To be honest, I'm not that confident about our chances either.

I'd have preferred us to have been playing as a team this week and Naysmith apparently isn't getting back into Sheffield until Thursday.

I hate derby matches :(

First, what time will people be getting to the pub for?
Secondly, how far is it to walk?

Thirdly my team:

Kenny
Sun Ugo Killa Naysmith
Naughton Speed Howard Quinn
Beattie Sharp

I think a bit of experience is going to be needed in a game like this thus playing Sun. But together with Naughts consistant displays and Cotts very incosistant displays i think it'd be worth playing Kyle in midfield.

A pig just told me that he's been told that they're gonna chuck balloons full of piss into the away corners - nice.

thing is, they do that, look whos got to come to our ground later this season. So whatever happens they will get it worse i'd imagine

Isn't one corner just the Scoreboard and the other is unused as it's condemend?
So they'd be throwing them at the scoreboards legs and empty seats!!!! :D

Well that's what I thought... plus, surely, a balloon with piss in it wouldn't be able to be thrown far anyway due to the weight?! Surely!?

Well the corner with the scoreboard is used, and the thick twats probably would chuck balloons of piss in there.

It's where the safety control is based (all those CCTVs!), and the local constabulary tend to be.

Think we set off from our end at about 08:00 last time so were there about 9ish. Beer and breakfast :D

Secondly, how far is it to walk?

About half an hour? Dunno, we always get the tram down. It's usually a bit of a squeeze but the benefit of that is that it's always free. We won't be getting the tram back this time though...

Classy.

time do they open? id like to be in before 9!

I wouldnt worry to much about balloons of piss, rumours like that are rife before every derby match and it never actually happens.

I'm not worried in the slightest... they'd have to be able to throw them a bloody long way to find me in the middle of the upper tier ;)

Lol exactly, considering they will only have the bottom tier of BL end. Who is gonna be above them? :D

I'm starting to get really excited about sunday now (although this will turn to nerves come sunday morning :p).

You cant beat a Sheffield derby im afraid!

How are their ticket sales going by the way? Will we see a return of the empty seats song?

Pathetic performance from us.

Only got going when we were down to 10 men.
