3-1

Decent win although disappointed they managed to get a goal. I thought we were the stronger team overall and probably should of been a couple of goals up well before half time. 2 cracking goals from Quinn and Hendrie absolute screamers from some decent counter attacking football. Although the relish had another poor game and his attempts at crossing were awful. Hendrie played rather well surprisingly and didnt get arsey about being subbed either. Spring did alright played rather well in the middle with Hendrie. Hard to decide who was MOM Quinn, Hendrie, Geary, Cotterill and Webber all had good games.

I nearly agreed with everything there until you said Webber had a good game!

:p

Webber...good game. Don't think we was watching the same game. Thought he and Relish were awful to be honest. Agree with the others they were excellent, and Ugo was rather solid at the back. Was a poor game really, enjoyed the away fans and what was happening in their end mostly.

Disappointed Webber scored cos I predicted 2-1 :p

Also I thought Cotterill could have torn them apart, he seemed to play without effort and Saturday I hope to see another gear from him, impressed me at times tonight.

Hendrie... he's such a nob that he passed his shirt to away bench to pass on to someone who asked for it :)

Evil pixie ;)

Webber has no excuse for being offside... don't think he and Henderson linked up well today but apparently Radio Sheffield said Webber was good, so no doubt someone else knows better than me ;)

Shit referee. Ridiculous booking for Del Boy. Ugo had blurred vision after Geary clocked him. Good goals. Roll on Satdi...

Attendance was 7694 and stinky is on a roll :)

As I said, Ugo should have probably been taken off after being clattered.

He'd complained to the bench that he couldn't see properly.

It was Armstrong most at fault for the goal, drifting inside then out and getting caught in the middle of nowhere. Ugo could have probably done more but he was also probably seeing about three footballs all at once :D

Nice to see Kyle Naughton's mum posting on our poll too :hello:

Kyle didn't get much chance to show anything tonight.

Let's hope he gets a chance soon.

Changed mi mind................ Henderson worst Blade on the pitch tonight he's got a lot of improving to do or our Gerts playin on Saturday ! Has he got any pace ?

Agreed he was the worst on the pitch.

I was happy with the way in which we played, we looked good going forward, however I won't get carried away, afterall this is Port Vale.

But this was a professional performance, and something in which to build on.

Hendrie or SQuinny for my MOTM to be honest, and I will decide soon.

Webber wasn't on form tonight, but he put a lot of work in, which was good to see. Henderson looked "ok" in flashes, however no need to panic with him just yet.

Ugo started the game so well, won absolutely everything in the air, but start making mistakes as the game progressed, probably as Linz said due to his clash.

Matty Spring impressed me with him actually wanting to go at PV, not afraid to shoot and an attack minded player, which is refreshing after being mind numbed with Tonge of late.

Cotts, well they were scared of him, and with every reason to be. He was rather dangerous when he was on the ball. Lost it a few times, but good performance.

Nice to see Naughton on the pitch, however not sure if he actually got a touch. Hopefully will get a good go in the future.

Hendrie to start Saturday for me..... but Bladesman, not sure if you went or not, but Hendrie was on the wing not CM.

Foxy will be happy with that team... he can introduce his French boyfriend to everyone :D

Non non non... Maxime wasn't there. And Foxy did his hair all special and everything :)

Good game last night.

Team played well and dominated most of the game despite the front too being poor.

Blackwell will have a headache because quinn, hendrie spring and cotts all played well. No reason tonge should be near the starting 11 next game as all impressed me.

Spring was awesome for me and my MOTM. He was getting the ball, looking up and trying to get us going forward. Think his fitness got to him towards the end but still an ace game for me. Great bring down and lay off in one move for hendrie's goal.

Looked like he was rotating with Quinn switching from CM to the wing. I couldnt really tell from where I was sat but whatever he played well anyway.
