Halford played well, with a great goal, but he still came behind Walker and Naughton who were immense

What he said. Never mind Essien, Monty is our own horse-faced Zidane. Greg was indeed lovely, but Monty is becoming the Midfield General in front of Sergeant-Major Morgan.

Awesome performance last night, thoroughly deserved the result. Great to see the Blades put in two great performances when it mattered, let's just hope there's another left in the tank!

Monty MOM for me - I'm not a fan of his but fair play to him, he's been awesome in the second half of the season.

Deserved the win, we were solid throughout and attacking wise it was superb at times.

Only one disappointment....the attendance. 26500 give or take. Thats shit, however the atmosphere at times was awesome.

Could be a scam to cash in on some extra dosh. Not sure how it works exactly but I imagine declaring a lesser crowd to the FL could mean we get a wee bit extra money?

Thinking about it, 26000 did seem strangly low when it was announced

Possibly...yet the top tier and corner were sparce in areas. The Kop and family stand had a few empty areas. I think it was just poor support really.

We'll see the 'real' crowd a week on Monday.
