Cheers peeps :) Just got a nasty head cold, but I'm sure I'll feel much better if we win ;)

The kind of nasty head cold that turns into a nasty hangover when you've overdone the "medicinal" spirits? :D

Oranges contain vitamin C.

Popular opinion states that vitamin C is good for colds.

Southern Comfort is made with oranges.

Alcohol kills germs.

Ergo... Southern Comfort is a cold remedy.

Nah, I thought I was hungover on Saturday, but it's something even worse than that! Got the docs tomorrow though so hopefully if it's treatable he can give me some antibiotics or something. Or he can decide that it actually is a case of swine flu and sign me off work for a week ;)

If you go out and attack tonight i can seriously see it being a pasting.

I hope it's a good game as well, few beers and a curry are ready :D

Come on Preston :D

Bit shakey at times.

Deserved the win, Preston are a Terrible team.

Like i said you deserved it, especially over the 2 legs but Preston missed a few easy chances and a couple cleared off the line.

One thing i've noticed, Beattie is shite.

Thought we dominated up until we scored then we invited the pressure on!

OMG... that was bloody hard work. My heart is hammering in my chest. My hands are shaking that much I can hardly type. Arrrgh... I'm going to Wembley!

Enjoy it... because it happens all too infrequently for us Blades.

MOTM poll up anyway... and there's no guessing who I voted for.

get the poll multiple choice! I need to nominate the lot of em!

Always one to listen to the wishes of our members, an option has been added.

I feel sorry for anyone on my Facebook who doesn't know about football! Haha.

It's Blades all the way down as far as I can see :D

EDIT:

From t'OS:

Sexy Greg the Duracell Bunny: Just try and stop me

Greg Halford sent the Blades to Wembley with a stunning header and failed to stay the course through injury, but pledged to make the big date.

His goal just before the hour, nodded in from Kyle Walker's cross, proved to be the only goal of the game despite Preston's spirited fightback.

Halford, injured on three separate occasions and forced to leave the field with eight minutes remaining, was helped off but insisted that he would make the Final on 25 May:

"I will be alright for Wembley - just try and stop me."

Meanwhile, Kyle Naughton summed up the way the game had gone:

"We had to work hard late in the game to hold on after going ahead but we all chipped in. I thought that we were never goings to score at one stage. I don't really mind who we play at Wembley - bring it on."

Funny old game. Until we scored we were different class. Some excellent play going forward and if we kept our heads at the death we could of got the 2nd we deserved on the night.

You lot must have been watching a different game to me. I thought Cotts and Kyle Walker were absolutely incredible today. The rest of the team all played well, but I thought those two looked different class to anybody else on the pitch.

When Halford scored that sexy, sexy goal i shedded a tear or two. Being a Blade ain't for the faint hearted, but tonight i don't care.....i'm one hell of a proud Blade, it's not just a game, it's a way of life and a life i wouldn't want any different!! :)

Our cook at work (another Plastics ST holder, hope he has a crap night tonight!) launched into a tirade about Halford this morning, how he was a 'drug addict' kicked out by Reading, should never have been allowed to play football again, yaddayaddayadda.

I'd call him a tosser but he may spit on me chips.

Piss on his chips by insisting it must be the culture at Reading FC, that and assaulting people :)

MOTM, Monty all the way. What a legend

Halford played well, with a great goal, but he still came behind Walker and Naughton who were immense
