As may be apparent I tend to knock around with people who are what might be called a bit pervy.
Hence a first date with a woman in that particular sub culture would not tend to involve a film or dinner...
No doubt, but surely you take care not to shock them with the evening's agenda?
You taking a fellow perv out is much less weird that taking someone unsuspecting to a porno. That's Taxi Driver material.
Someone told me today that it was also Sol Campbells debut game.I remember that, we pissed on them and when they had a couple of moments when they actually looked a class above, Alan Kelly made a normally match winner, amazing save, look REALLY easy. I remember Teddy having a strop. Also that Cundy was awful.
I agree with (and was there for all of them) those.
a match we had to win for prommotion as they were just below us in the table

Cardiff match wasnt played in a thunderstorm. It was a cloudy evening and temperatures were near normal for that time of the yearTuesday night in a thunderstorm, Saturday in bright sunshine - one of the best weeks of my life

I was sat in the BLUT that night. The first real thunderstorm I can remember watching the Blades play a match in was in our 3-1 win against Southampton in August 1971 (it happened during the 2nd half). If you look at the photos (two photos of celebrating the 1st goal, Flynn scoring our 2nd, Reece, Flynn and Dearden in the dressing room after the game, Blades fans celebrating on the pitch) of the Cardiff match in the Watford programme you will not see any evidence of rain also there is a photo of TC' scoring our 3rd in Keith Farnsworth's book of Football in Sheffield.I don't know where you were stood, but I thought there was a thunderstorm on the terrace....
I am Bill Foggitt! So what's the outlook for the weekend, Paul Hudson?![]()

Too much info!I'm worried now - how did I get so wet?
Yes it will be in my 50 years ago thread after midnight tomorrowThe Cardiff game, listed in the OP, was 50 years ago this week.

You might also remember a 1-1 draw v. Spurs in 1961 after promotion. Rocco got the second half equaliser on an emotional night at the Lane.cardiff was undoubtably the best ever night game at the lane the 2 that run it closest were both against leeds in 70 in the league cup and the first division game in 71 we battered them both games
