Try again then shall we?

Note the earlier kick off time (useful for all of us having to go after work )

OS LINKY

United's Championship fixture against Peterborough United, which was postponed at the weekend because of a frozen pitch, has been re-arranged for early next month.

The clash against the Posh at London Road will now take place on Tuesday 9th March, with a 7.30pm kick-off.

The earlier kick-off has come at United's request after concerns arose about the availability of trains for our supporters travelling back to Sheffield.
Whilst we are delighted that Peterborough have agreed to the earlier time we are still disappointed that the late decision to postpone the initial game caused unnecessary expense and wasted time for our supporters.

Around 2,500 Blades fans were at various stages of the route to Peterborough [Linz: Or outside the bloody Cherry Tree Pub!] on Saturday when the news was announced, and with the re-arranged fixture being on a Tuesday night we anticipate fewer being able to back the team owing to availability and further expense.

Therefore, the Blades are subsidising travel for the fixture. Fans who originally travelled on the official Away Blade Coach Ticket can travel to the rearranged fixture for just £8.

Anyone wishing to use the Official Away Blade Coaches for the rearranged game, who did not use it for the original game, will still be able to secure travel for the reduced price of £12.

Any fans who travelled with the official Away Blade Coach for the original game but are unable to attend the re-arranged game can obtain a £5 discount on Away Blade Travel to any remaining away game this Season.

Away Blade Coach tickets for the original game are no longer valid and a new Away Blade Coach ticket must be purchased for the rearranged game.

Fans who bought tickets for Saturday's postponed game at Peterborough can either keep the original tickets for the re-arranged fixture or obtain a refund from the Ticket Office.

Please note that tickets must be returned to obtain a refund and therefore this can only be done in person or via the post.

Any refunds must be obtained before the rearranged date of Tuesday 9th March.

The coach sets off at 15:00 from Bramall Lane. Details HERE

 Because work are sending me on some bloody session about how to write public sector tenders (erm yeah... no experience of that) and the early kick off time I now have to miss this match.

Not impressed.

:( Not good. I'm gutted I'm missing it too but no way I can get there as I'm on placement with uni. I hardly get to any games now so it's crap.
Stupid weather!

The game was moved to 1930pm ko so that Blades fans can catch the last train back from Peterborough ( 21:53 pm ) via Doncaster .

Were still blaming Barry Fat Fry for the game been callled off , if he had opened his gob and let out the hot air that normaly comes from it then the frozen pitch would have melted :D

Sod the train, I'm driving! means I'll have to try and finish early to give us more leeway :)

Hopefully it'll be a little more successful this time around.

Dunno... you'd have to ask Foxy about arrangements for that.

I've stayed out of it (with the mardies on) seeing as I'm not going :D

Kallio is injured apparently.

Also for those without Bladesplayer (what used to be Bladesworld) there's a 14 day free trial running at the moment so you can listen for freeeeeee.

Evans brave enough to go in for a 50/50 with the keeper?!

Foxy reckons it wasn't a corner in the first place.

Doesn't excuse us not defending it though.
