2 changes in first half ? only turned it on as they scored not interested at the moment both injured??

Comment from Foxy (in case anyone isn't watching our Twitter feed)... "Harper's moved about 5 yards all second half".

I think Edwards said the same thing and also abit of arm waving.

Foxy also said "If Wardy isn't injured then he wants fining. He looked lazy and useless. Was walking and running fine but never in game"

Thats not good, but when the manager gets on at the players publicily, then we really can't expect too much from every player.

Tonight was pathetic
No ideas No shots
Clueless
If they had been playing a better team we would have been battered
Useless
Crowd spot on considering the sh!te that was served up!

Thought the crowd was very good in patches.

Could have done with leaving some of the counter productive stuff till after the whistle though.

What the fucking hell was that.....

Just back, and my word what a load of crap.

To be fair, we were so bad it was funny. Not almost funny, just funny.

"We only want one shot"
"Kevin Blackwell's fucked it up again"

Ironic cheers when we strung 3 passes together.
Wild celebrations when we won a corner
Fans almost chatting with their keeper - probably making him an offer for his unused shirt.

If anything good can come of tonight, it will be that the "powers that be" must look and think something has to change.

Blackwell Out. Please, please...................please.

On the plus side, the Chinese on the boat on the river was quite nice.

Did Blackwell get a message to their PA guy to play very LOUD music at the end of the game to drown out the Blackwell Out chants!!!

Talking to a posh fan after the game he thought our fans the best at London Road this season!!
However he thought our team probably the worst he's seen -about sums it all up really

To be fair, they petered out on their own, with many more content with aiming wanker gestures towards the ones with enough bollocks to look towards them and clap.

Blackwell was long down the tunnel anyway.

Not got a problem with letting him have it after the whistle, but most of it during the game was destructive towards the team as a whole.

I felt sorry for the players tonight. They clearly didn't have a clue what to do.They lacked direction and quality and where scared stiff of touching the ball.
When fans start taking the piss out of the team during the game it shows that the relationship between the club and fans is being weakened ...a sign that a change is needed.
The reaction to Quinn coming on for Ward was the catalyst for the abuse to start towards KB and to be fair, based on that performance,KB deserved all the abuse he got at the game.

A good post from a guy who talks sense.

Season ticket sales have just gone through the floor.

Problem being, the man critisised for not coming to the touchline and giving them direction was met with "sit down, shut up" every time he moved.

It got to the stage where I felt sorry for both parties and at times, a bit embarressed by the overall reaction as well as the performance.

It does, says a lot when some of our fans were more than happy hanging over the advertising boards to call Mark Bunn a wanker and then spent the entire second half cheering and clapping the opposition keeper.

Somethings got to change, because we'll end up self combusting very shortly.

All very true - the relationship can't get much worse. We need a change very soon, but fear the leadership is too weak (some would argue strong) to make it.

what worries me is that he had before the game and at half timeto put things right ...it got worse.

He blames injuries...the back four consisted of our skipper, two premiership defendersand a left sided midfielder(why he didn'tplay Taylor is beyond me.
He chose to play Willo (who apparantly had to have an injection toplay) yet left Yeates on the bench.
Apart from Hendo..wasn't that his first team today ?(not counting Kenny and Naysmith as been out all season).
Sometimes it's not the fact we have lost,it's the way we play and today reminded me of the Heath days .

What were you drinking??

A nice cup of rancid machine coffee whilst sat at work you?

Thats not good, but when the manager gets on at the players publicily, then we really can't expect too much from every player.

But to go further on what I said.

Some players take critisicm in a different light to others, some it may effect in a negative manner, Ward has been one of the more positive players of the season, despite injuries and supposed contract shit happening behind the scenes he has still been one of our better preformers. So to then hear that you have only been brought in because "your the only thing available at that time" can have a very negative effect on a player who may need his confidence building via other motivational methods.

I have been rather on side with Blackwell till the comments of the weekend, its not just the players that need to man up and have balls, he also needs to man up and have balls and hold his hands up at times and say, "We tried this tactic and it didn't best suit the game to day." Or other things instead of blaming every other thing under the sun and then turning on the players for not having the supposed mental attitude for away mentallity. He and the players should be held accountable for poor performances. If he has these suppossed sports psychologists in to speak to players, he should also spend a few hours with them to improve his man management and motivational skills after all thats a crucial part of their intial studies.
