Is that the seventh of June or the sixth of July? All depends if we are looking at it from a UK or USA perspective!

The Ludi Piscatorii was a Roman holiday celebrated on 7th June in the 3rd century BC in honor of Father Tiber. The holiday was celebrated by the fishermen of Rome; the celebration was directed by the Praetor. All fish that were caught on this day were sacrificed by fire at the Temple of Vulcan.

So reading between the lines, it's not looking good for Conor Sammon

There was a Vulcan works on south street, which became the Moor. I infer that Sammon will be tarred, feathered and horse whipped along it that day. I hope there's some nice bunting put up to make it a special occasion.

And who says it's all doom and gloom these days :)
