Woo... we're in the bottom shelf.

Weekend in London sorted... anyone got any ideas of where to drink pre-match?

You can usually get one in the Springbok if you aren't wearing colours but we usually get to the ground as late as possible. I know somewhere round Shepherds Bush was being mooted the other day outside the Lion? Anyone any suggestions?

As for the team, I'd be tempted to say that we'll stick with Henderson alone up front but from the sounds of it, Howard was little support so perhaps Webber coming in and playing in t'hole?

I'd be delighted with a point from this one... a four point haul from two tricky away games is not a bad result.

I'd like to see O'Toole playing in the hole.

which seems to suggest springbok is no longer that away friendly

It's never been somewhere I'd describe as "friendly" :) It has been a possible choice in the past though.

We'll be early for once, so need to decide on somewhere :)

I'm going to a cheeky one-nil reverse.

And I will choose... Henderson to score it :)

in the absence of any better ideas should we meet first in the o'neills by shepherds bush http://www.fancyapint.com/pubs/pub697.html and then make a move if anyone has any better ideas in the meantime? What sort of time you in london for? you've got my number anyway so drop me a text or whatever when you know what your timings look like. I guess you'll be going to hotel first and then old street/kings x (or old st/ moorgate) and hammersmith & city?

Aye... sounds like a plan to me :)

What sort of time you in london for?

Should be arriving at 10:20... and like you said dumping the bags before anything else. Then head straight to find somewhere for a drink and summat to eat so shouldn't be long before we're around Shepherds Bush way.

We went to a pub just round the corner from Paddington station last year. It was pretty good & quiet too!

Team news from the beeb:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/7910422.stm

QPR winger Lee Cook is hoping to be included in the squad after missing the last two games with a knee problem.

Spanish midfielder Jordi Lopez is expected to feature again after playing well on his full debut for the club against Norwich in midweek.

Sheffield United have no fresh injury problems for the trip to Loftus Road.

Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole, Greg Halford and Danny Webber are pushing for starts, while Billy Sharp (groin) remains sidelined.

"Greg Halford has had a bit of a tight calf and I didn't want to risk it with all of the big games coming up.

"Danny Webber had been down all of last week with sickness and diarrhoea before the Birmingham game, and he put a real shift in, and I just felt he was a little bit jaded so I didn't risk him.

"So I was able to make the changes (against Coventry) with no side effects and they'll all be fit for Saturday."

Thought we were really unlucky not to score but saying that so were QPR.
Really missed Cotterill bigtime today. Dont know how many Blades were on the top tier but surely the atmosphere would have been better if we were all on the bottom? Man of the match for me was the terrier Monty!
Highlight of the day for me was a great photo of my son with Keith Edwards before game  cheers sir Keith

I have to agree with Monty being MOTM.

Thought Beattie played well when he came on. He's faster than he looks.

Ward battled well too.

But, except from a few flashes I thought it was poor.

MOTM poll added chaps... we've just been out for a pleasant evening and we're currently sat in the hotel lobby listening to the DJ :)

Got to get our quid's worth!

Kenny MOTM for me, top saves, kept us in the match and monty had a poor first half.

Caught the last 20 mins or so on the radio. It sounded as though Ward was quite a handful for their defence.

Terrible game.

Howard was quite influential in the middle of the park I thought, started plenty of attacks. Shame they were all their attacks!

Not much to say about the match, both had chances but two very poor teams.

I read that bit first and thought I was going to need to check you into some kind of clinic...

Shame they were all their attacks!

... then you redeemed yourself.

He played absolutely bobbins on Saturday. A case in point... we had a freekick and he goes and find their biggest defender to go and stand behind! He's got to start trying harder.

We missed the width that Cotterill has been providing recently, but whether he'd have been effective on that pitch or not... we'll never know.

howard gets a game and has been shyte.... cotterill is picking up form and is dropped.

Blackwell = arse.

Give that man a ceegarrr.
Howard has done absolutely nowt since his debut. Dingles must be pissing themselves.
Cotterill must wonder what he's gotta do to get a regular shirt.
