There will be about 11 of us coming up.
Tony Currie used to be our star player then he became a taxi driver for a while.
We love our chairman and manager and there is a real sense of unity amongst the fans.
Hope that tells you all you need to know about us.

P.S. I tried to read your post in a geordie accent for full effect.
p.p.s. Oh I almost forgot to tell you,we also have an hotel.
p.p.p.s. Not seen Jimmy Nail on tv for ages what's he up to these days.
p.p.p.p.s Is it true you eat Mackems for breakfast.

Why aye man an all that shite

You lot are in for a surprise mate !
We will let you know if and when we find one.

No doubt our brilliant manager will have a cunning plan to thwart you pesky Geordies.
Usually it's to bore everyone to death before eventually losing.
Then it wasn't his fault it was;
The wind was in the wrong diection
They are not my players
It was the wrong type of grass
Injuries, too many loanees
Can't fault the effort
The ball was a funny shape etc etc etc

Take your pick and good luck back in the Prem.

Either this one doesn't watch football or he's being patronising.

I'm sorry but i can name good players and bad players in every Premiership & Championship team possibly even half the League 1 squads.

Oh yeah, be so funny if we put their promotion party on hold. can't see that happening though

I know a few of your players like Nyron Nosworthy, Mark Yeates, Chris Morgan.

I wanna know why you's put Billy Sharp out on-loan, he is a cracking player!!

Is Paddy Kenny playing again yet??

Yeh I can do the same matt and there is no excuse why any proper football fan can't. For instance; I am well aware that Bristol Rovers have a handy little striker called Jo Kuffour and Huddersfield have a promising young goalie called Alex Smithies. It doesn't take hours of viewing to know these things either.

I have a brother in law who gets on my nerves. He is a Spurs fan and has spent the last 6 months asking me for the names of the two Kyle's they bought from us. Despite being an avid Spurs supporter of 30 years he still hasnt grasped their names

To asnwer your question, Billy has a piss poor goal scoring record for us. It is attributed to many things but mainly due to the opinion that the manager's piss poor tactics don't suit the player and that Billy doesn't "fit our system" hence he has been sent on loan to one of our neighbours who are too big for their boots.

Paddy Kenny won't be back until late april but is training again.

Best player currently IMO is Jamie Ward. But he is currently injured and will be touch and go to make the game against yourselves. We also have Lee Williamson, a midfielder we signed from Watford in pre-season but due to injures we have seldom seen him play. When he has, he has been a bright spark in a disappointing season. He is back in contention now and has real quality. He would get into any team in the Championship when he's fit.

Don't worry matey you'll get your promotion on Monday night. No worries pal. But be prepared to see some dire football beofre hand. Oh and stretch your neck before! (as the ball may come down with snow on it every time a United player touches it).

As for start players, well ...... we've got these 2 cracking young full backs, both strong, athletic and skillfull. We've got a decent centre half who can put his foot on the ball and play as well as defend. there is also this very dangerous winger who really turned aroundf our fortunes last season. Oh hnag on a minute.

In sinceirty we have a few decent players, but they are all crocked (Camara, morgs, Williamson and Ward).

My prediction is that Newcastle will win 3-0. Good luck next year in the big time.

Oh and there is not a cat in hells chance we'll fill the away end!!!??

To Answer your first questions we will bring 16 players, a manager and 3 or 4 backroom staff that should do it.

Star player? whats one of them?

So, Newcastle Fan... Today's results mean this match is a live one. Bad news for us, cos someone is due to weave us into the turf this season - we've been in turmoil throughout.

We'll do nothing more than defend and hope for a set piece goal. Which is a shame, because I really don't credit this Newcastle side with as much flair or attractive football as you'd hope or expect.

Much respect to your manager though - he's created a brutally efficient Championship side with enough class to stay well ahead of the rest.

UTB

No idea how many we'll bring but our stay player out of the ones fit is probably Morgan... which says alot!

I reckon we'll lose 4-0. Can't see us being able to contain them. If Jonas gets running at Taylor he'll have a field day :(

One positive for tonight is that while they're celebrating promotion the traffic might not be too bad getting away from the ground :)

Not bothered about the traffic, we are staying over :)

Cant see anything but a heavy defeat

The very best we can hope far is only losing by a couple

We havent a team to put out ,just a mis matched hotch potch of square pegs in round holes .

Would be surprised if more than a few hundred Blades turn up to witness our embaressment in front of the cameras

im also thinking a massive defeat is on the cards, our squad is down to the minimum and this is newcastles party night, they are going to be on it tonight. Im saying 4-0 to newcastle. I dont even know where to start when picking the starting 11 for us.

It'll be a bit different to last time we were there.

We had to walk through the massive protests by the Geordies against their board after the game.

Tonight could be embarrasing!! They will come out and hammer us on their big night! I hate to say it but we could go down 4-0 or more tonight

I think 3-0 to Newcastle is a possibility.

It's hard to see how United will breach their defence with a one pace team, no flair and no creativity as a result of injuries and bad transfer decisions.

No shots on target is a possibility and I think Sheffield United will only manage around 3-5 shots in the match with posession being 60/40.

I think we've already had that - Adam Johnson vs Andy Taylor.

Guttierez will be on the left wing anyway.
