Easy this one

Predition: lose.
Line-ups: another loanee?
In match chatter: will any one bother?
Post match: melt down.

I'm predicting a draw in this one. Probably a 1-1 with United starting slowly.

The season is all but over so these games are purely for local pride now. I would suggest the Blades throwing a couple of youngsters in to sample a big game (if we have any decent ones). Maybe give this Lowton a chance, although I fear he is only making the bench by default. At this stage though, we ought to blood some youngsters for next season if any have a chance at the first team.

This will be another frustrating affair and anything less than a win will probably just intensify the pressure on KB from the supporters. I really don't see United winning this one. On current form and with Barnsley well up for it, they have a good chance of coming to the lane and getting something.

Sheffield United 3-1 Barnsley

Ever the optimist eh Nuddy?

I think we'll lose this one. I'm predicting the hard working Barnsley to out play us. Mark robbins to out fox Kevin Blackwell and Barnsley to nick it one nil. They were MUCH, MUCH better than us at Oakwell and I think we're in for more of the same tomorrow.

(me prediction a defeat usually ends up with us winning - or vice versa)

I was trying to think of our line-up for this game and any possible outcomes, but after about 30 seconds of thought, I realised I don't really care :(

I know sometimes I go on a bit in my messages, but i've just got to say that when I read the message from Grumpy Blade it brought a smile. I Can't see us winning, but miracles do happen sometimes, so hopefully we'll win.

Barnsley fan in peace.

I imagine that you lot will/should win this easily. We've been playing like pricks of late, and haven't scored in two games - laterly against the Mighty Plymouth. Plus Bogdanovich is injured.

It depends what formation Robins goes for - we've played 4-5-1 the last 2 games with either Macken or Gray up front on their own. Which has been pointless, because our midfield don't get forward enough to support them.

Texeira is injured too - which means that Hammill will start, who will either be fantastic or disgraceful, nobody knows, let alone himself.

I'll be optimistic and plump for a 1-1 draw.

I'm going for a 1-1 draw as well.

If you think for a second that United will win this easily, you either haven't watched us play recently or your team is utter shite.......

Barnsley have every chance of taking something saturday.

'Barnsley have every chance of taking something saturday.'

Sad thing is it won't matter.

I'm not going again whilst that clown is the manager!
My own protest makes me feel a bit better
If 10,000 blades did it then perhaps they (McCabe and Birch) may get the message
By just turning up week in week out and moaning will not change a thing
BLACKWELL OUT !

I'd save your breath Blunkett, most Blades seem to think you're on a long unbeaten run playing free flowing football under the messiah Mark Robins.

I know a few Barnsley fans and they're all saying the same as you - Barnsley have been shite recently.

I'd like to see some quality drinking before the match, with a possibility of a tactical move to the outside by the Lion's resident drunkards from the Happy Corner. You know who you are.

There will be outbreaks of prolonged piss-taking, the occasional cigar, many laments and even a bag or perhaps two of pork scratchings. Some members will, despite it being a long weekend, wimp totally out and drink fizzy pop because the fifteen minute bus ride home will be too much to bear and they will be driving.

It might rain, it might not, but we shall not care. We shall scoff at the climate, and show our contempt for light drizzle and Arctic winds.

If more beer than three pints is consumed then there may well be more than one trip for a wee, even after attempting to soak up much ale with a wanky pie. Banter will be exchanged with those around us as we take our seats, except for those twats who still believe that we always kick of at ten past three and therefore always come late.

After the match there will either be a trip to the pub for a few pints to let the traffic die down, or a gentle drive home at 7 mph while listening to Praise or Twat on Radio Cacky.

Oh, the football? Past giving a shit this season. A turgid draw or an embarrassing defeat. Not bothered really, it won't change my weekend one one way or the other.

I predict that I will have three pints to Foxy's nil.

As for the football, god knows. It'll probably be crap, but it just depends if we're crap and in a scoring mood or crap and think there's land mines in the Barnsley box.

I think it will be a boring 1-0 nil win to The Blades.
