Details from Leyton Orient's OS...

Please note that due to the anticipated number of visiting supporters, the entire East Stand has been given over to Sheffield United on this occasion. Season ticket holders in this area will need to purchase seats in another area of the ground for this match.

The East stand holds 3,636 in total.

Ticket prices:

Adults: £20
Concessions: £13

Cheap coach travel:

United are offering subsidised Away Blade coach travel to their fans going to the Leyton Orient game in the FA Cup.

Initially we wanted to see a reduction in ticket prices - a move subsequently ruled out by the Football Association.

Now, keen to provide affordable football for our fans, we have launched concessionary Away Blade coach travel to help mitigate against the cost and to encourage supporters to attend the third round tie on 3rd January.

Ticket office manager Emma Wylie said:

"With the current economic climate and the fact that the game is played at the end of the festive period, we wanted to help our fans as much as possible enjoy the magic of the FA Cup.

"We had hoped this would be another occasion when we could offer a ticket deal to provide affordable football, and wanted prices set at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

"Instead, to help supporters, we are offering a subsidised Away Blade travel and ticket package - adults at £30, concessions at £20."

Match ticket prices set by the home club are £20 adults and £13 concessions. However, in the event of a replay at Bramall Lane, tickets will be priced at £10 adults and £5 concessions.

This match is all ticket for Blades fans. Tickets will go on general sale from 15th December.

Emma added: "We have been allocated an initial 1000 tickets, however up to 2,500 tickets are available. To qualify for the package supporters must purchase ticket and travel at the same time."

Due to the holiday period, supporters wishing to take advantage of this offer must book by 5pm, Sunday 28th December.

Seven pairs of wheelchair and helper tickets are also available. These are free of charge, proof of disability must be shown at the time of purchase and also at the turnstiles.

Ambulant tickets are also available to supporters on a higher level of disability. These are free of charge, proof of disability must be shown at the time of purchase and also at the turnstiles.

And more ticket info from United:

We have been allocated an initial 1,000 tickets, however up to 2,500 tickets are available in total. Tickets are priced at £20.00 Adults, £13.00 Seniors (Over 65), Students with a valid NUS card (Student proof must be provided at the time of purchase and also at the turnstiles), and Juniors Under 16.

We are offering a subsidised Away Blade Coach Travel and ticket package at £30.00 Adults, £20.00 Concessions.

Please note the ticket & travel package MUST be purchased together at the same time.

Due to the New Year holiday period, supporters wishing to take advantage of this offer MUST book by 5.00pm, Sunday 28th December.

7 pairs of wheelchair and helper tickets are also available. These are free of charge, proof of disability must be shown at the time of purchase and also at the turnstiles.

Ambulant tickets are also available to supporters on a higher level of disability. These are free of charge, proof of disability must be shown at the time of purchase and also at the turnstiles.

Due to the short period of time we have to sell the tickets and the Christmas post. Tickets will go on general sale from Monday 15th December 2008.

This match is a Category C fixture therefore 150 loyalty points will be issued to supporters purchasing tickets.

No problems... I think we're on about coaching it though. As much as I detest the things, it means we don't have to bother with parking and Mr Fox can have a drink for once :)

£22 to go there

How can they charge that much seriously

So where are we all meeting, Coach and Horses???????

I suppose it depends where the coaches are dropping us. I've got a feeling that if we're going for a drink, it'll be somewhere on the way down and they'll get us to the ground as late as possible.

MATCH POSTPONED

A BIT SHIT CALLING IT OFF AFTER 1.00PM WHEN ALL THE FANS HAVE ALREADY TRAVELLED

A few on here will be very unhappy, Foxy, Linz, The One, Mousey and Keenzy have all traveled.

I feel most for Comefromaway who is staying close to the ground and it was to be his last match this season as he returns to Canada soon.

:(

well. lovely trip. currently waiting to set back off home. Pitch didn't look too bad, but was frozen at one side.

what a crap time to call it off!

The match will now be played on Tuesday 13 January 2009, kick-off 7.45pm. The police would not resource the match on 6 January 2009.

All tickets for the initial date will be valid for the new date and should be retained. Supporters with tickets unable to make the re-arranged date can apply to the Box Office at Bramall Lane for refunds from 10am on Monday 5 January 2009.

Bet there's loads of fans well p*ssed off!

I'm glad i decided not to go in the end. I bet the people who have travelled all the way there are gutted!

What a steaming bag of cocks.

Probably won't be able to have the day/afternoon off for the replay now.

Its crazy calling it off at 1pm. I had a chat to an Orient fan in the pub who said it was -4 last night ! - Why didnt they do a pitch inspection at 10 ?

From Hereford website

Leeds Match Off...

Due to a frozen pitch the match against Leeds United has been postponed.

Match referee Graham Horwood made a pitch inspection at 9am this morning and he made the early decision to call the match off...

Could of quite easily done the same

......... sigh .........

Why the hell did United try and get it replayed on the 6th? Clearly thinking about the fans getting time off work and travelling down there, eh?

Begging time at work for me tomorrow, me thinks. Long way to go for 3 pints yesterday :D

Fans coaches left at 8-8.30am - so they'd still be a decent way down the M1 by then!

In a position to turn round with everybody together though.

apparently 7 of 8 games have been called off due to frozen pitches, most of them called off this morning, all of them in time to stop the majority of fans from travelling. How is it they couldn't have told us earlier. I, like a lot of others, didn't find out right until i was in Leyton and already spent a huge amount of time and money going there. Absolutely ridiulous

As long as the same doesn't happen a week today :)
