We dont seem to be getting teams at the right time at all this season, in fact quite the opposite. We seem to be running into sides who are bang in form constantly and this is no different.

My lineup:-

Simonsen
Lowton, Bartley, Lowry, Mattock
Yeates, Williamson, Montgomery, Vacancy
Evans, Bent

Long, Parrino, Ertl, McAllister, Quinn, Ward, Cresswell

If Doyle comes in I would start him instead of Monty but the chance seems unlikely. We desperately need a left sided player to give us some width as (apart from Yeates) I dont see a reasonable candidate that can play there for us at the moment. We'll probably sign two midfielders in this window so my hope for an experienced centre back isnt worth talking about.

Prediction: 1-1 (Another good performance but more frustration)

Agree with all of that SC. In the absence of signing a left winger I would play Quinn on the left.

Unofrtuantely I can't see us getting anything from this game. Leicester are a decent side and Sven has really got them playing. You never know with United, they do surprise us now and then - and we were the better team at the Walkers, but I can't see us winning this one.

I'd take a 1-1 draw and try to build on this. I think the away games against Ipswich, Palace and Scunny may decided our fate so we need to get ourselves together fast.

Prediction 1-2. Passion, work rate and improved performance but beaten by a better, in form side. If we cut out the sloppy mistakes we have a chance, but I expect their passing football to be superior to ours.

Can't see us winning tonight with the squad that they've got.
We haven't played since the 22nd though (neither have they I think), so MA might have worked some magic in training!
I'm going for a 1-1

Not overly optimistic about tonight. I would settle for a point. Thats not to say I'm all doom and gloom I just think we are playing a team with some good signings and on a decent run of form. We have had a turnaround in playing staff over the last few weeks and I think it will take a bit of time to bed down. We are going to have to be patient, not a trait many of us possess, me included.

I expect us to improve and I think we will get at least 4 points from Derby and Millwall at home and hope we pick up some points on the road at Scunny, Palace and Ipswich.

If we are rooted in the bottom three by the end of the month then I will start to panic !!

Looking at what's available I think Micky will set the stall out something like this:-

Simonsen
Parrino, Ertl, Lowry, Mattock
Willo, Monty, Doyle
Ward/Yeates
Evans, Bent

Despite the shape above it will be a 4-4-2 but I think he'll have one of either Yeates or Ward operating in something of a free role, switching from right to left (occasionally down the middle) depending on where they find the most joy. I can see Williamson tucking in with Monty and Doyle more often than not, but when we are defending it will revert to two banks of four.

That would be a sensible way to play tonight IMO against stronger opposition. I think he will go for something like that if not the same. If he starts Quinny then its almost certainly a more orthodox 4-4-2.

I think the Blades can get something tonight (maybe a draw) but it will take a really good performance to win this one. Here's hoping!

My Guess at the side would be

Simonsen
Parrino, Collins, Lowry, Mattock
Williamson, Monty, Doyle, Quinn or Yeates
Evans, Bent

I think we will get battered tonight like a cod.

If we somehow get a draw I think we can consider ourselves lucky.

Mates text me weve hit bar, Montys had a 30 yard thunderbolt saved and we had a clear pen turned down. How can this be hapening again????

What's up with Mattock? Says serious injury on match txt

He didn't move, stayed totally still... which is always a bad sign.

I didn't see how he landed as he was at the opposite side of the pitch to me with a player in the way... Looked bad though.

Someone who sits that end text me saying it looked like a break.

Poor lad just come back from bad injury as well.
Hope he recovers soon.

The Jinx goes on.
Has someone upset a Gipsy?

Its like we have got the ex wednesday fitness coach.

Remember they had some awful luck with injuries before they went down and its now happening to us last season and this season.
