think to offer mccabe only 20m for control of the club is rather insulting
if we do go up , a possibility hed miss out on 100m

If we go up ?
I'd take the £20 million now and go about the rest of my business rather than fund a loss year in year out

Just wanted to put this out there to gauge the feeling, obviously with no guarantee that Princey would hand over £20 million to Wilder for players, especially considering some of his comments.

Still, if Princey did win out, would you want him to give McCabe the £20 million for the assets and pay him what he would like to hand over the club, or would you prefer he gave it to Wilder for players next season/this Jan if up there/struggling.

There it is.
what about the brooks money ? .. are you including that?

Keep up at the back there!

Haven't you been reading the whole thread? What started off looking like £12m has been cut to £4m in installments and there are the legal fees to pay.

We now owe Bournemouth £2.5m and more when he's played 10 games.

no i didn’t i cheated :( .. sorry

Logically, they are worthless...as the enterprise doesn’t make a profit.

Disagree, we sell a player for whatever fee the business is still there and somebody has a sum of money which will transit through the club and be paid as a 'wage' or 'repayment on a loan' or whatever.

Not strictly true.

A loss making business can still have plenty of assets that are valuable and useful to another better run business.

If and when we sold them, then they would be worth something...

Quite.

So why did you say 10 minutes ago that they were 'worthless'?

Because in the context of someone buying the club the players are currently a liability. (well, some more than others.. ;) )
If and when we do sell someone, it would appear that the 'profit' get's swallowed up by ongoing running costs and we have to rely on the owners good will to get by.

Still, if you really do want me to put a price on 'the squad' then I guess I'd say it's less than £10 million as the shares ( and players registrations) are currently going at £5million for 50%

me too. After 7 votes the n's have it. Can I be the first to suggest the following chant? "nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"

I can't have been the only one to have done this chant in my head to the tune of Hey Jude?
