Nope, nobody can. There are literally thousands of managers/coaches in the world. I’m sure there will be at least one available that can do a better job than Wilder.

And the laziest argument lifts its head once more.Nobody who says wilder out state who comes in. Who is available and who will come ? Anotther cluster fuck waiting to happen..
...be careful what you wish for...There are literally thousands of managers/coaches in the world. I’m sure there will be at least one available that can do a better job than Wilder.
Why don't we bring back our previous "highly regarded" managers such as Janckovic or Selles???Wilder will be here next season whether some like it or not.
He's probably the right man for the job in the here and now but there needs to be some proper succession and scenario planning going on behind the scenes because I'm not sure that bringing back a 78 year old Chris Wilder for his 7th spell in charge when the shit hits the fan again is really the way to be going!
Last summer's recruitment was like doing supermarket sweep round B&M, 5 minutes before closing time, filling the trolley with shit and hoping that there's some stuff in there that might be half decent once you rummage through the bags.
Wilder did a bit of a cash in the attic job and stumbled across something in an old woman's loft that others thought were a load of rubbish but turned out to be pretty valuable when it came to Bamford and Riedewald.
He knows what needs fixing, he knows who and what needs chucking out and its his job to make it happen within the constraints he's got to work within. Some will go to auction, some will be kept on display, some will go in the big ikea bag to the charity shop where there might be some takers for them and there will be others that go straight to the tip.
If Wilder doesn't make a decent fist of things next season (i.e. top 8) then I'm sure we can give a job to someone with a "philosophy" like Will Still or Liam Manning to make doubly certain that we go down!
I wouldn't bet on that.Wilder is not going anywhere for a year at least, people just need to get over it and accept it, focus on discussing what we need to do in the summer to improve us.
Maybe grandad will want to spend time with the grandkid, whatll happen thenBlaster getting his daughter up the duff might keep him round for a while![]()
Babby will be playing for us in 20 years time!Maybe grandad will want to spend time with the grandkid, whatll happen then
Wondered why Blaster was in the current squad?Blaster getting his daughter up the duff might keep him round for a while![]()
Wilder so boring now. Same old predictable shite for nearly 10 years. New direction needed.
I’d just hope that when Wilder does leave us, we actually go through the process of vetting and maybe even interviewing the bloke who replaces him. If we decide to just give the job to a random Spanish bloke without talking to him first I don’t think it will end well.Nobody who says wilder out state who comes in. Who is available and who will come ? Anotther cluster fuck waiting to happen..
Crazy! If Wrexham don't go up I would like Phil Parkinson to take over from Wilder. Or Nigel Clough.
Wilder's cryogenic head will still be managing us in 2047I’d just hope that when Wilder does leave us, we actually go through the process of vetting and maybe even interviewing the bloke who replaces him. If we decide to just give the job to a random Spanish bloke without talking to him first I don’t think it will end well.
My guess would be that we have a bit of an underwhelming season next season and he’s gone in the Summer or 2027, I hope I’m wrong as he carries out a good rebuild and has us scoring 3 goals a game without conceding 4!
Do you actually read the oppo fans viewsNo they dont. Most think hes a ****
And i bey most wouldnt want him as their next manager.

Pretty good description of what most of us would have done tbh and I think most of us have quickly forgotten the state we were in when wilder came back. I guess our hopes were raised when we had the good run but the combination of the Charlton game with injuries and suspension followed by the postponed Oxford game really knocked us out of our stride. Yes we are all frustrated we didn’t push on and make the playoffs and being at st Mary’s for a 1:0 defeat etc didn’t help but suggest we now need to all get behind wilder. Give him next season and review next May. In the meantime we should all get behind him and the club, united we stand as they say!Imagine if your boss sacked you.
Then appointed a replacement for you and a basket (case) full of new workers, a few months down the line the new 'team' brought the business to the brink of insolvency.
Your old boss calls you up and asks if you would come back and save the firm from insolvency (think relegation) while having to work with basket case of new employees because they are all on long contracts.
What would you say to your old boss?
Maybe Wilder should be given some praise for not telling COH to F off, and to have saved the club from possible relegation.
Remember we were below Wendy when he came back.
Remember the players looked like they didn't even know what sport they were playing after Selles 'vertical indoctrination'.
Still don't let me cloud your fixed narrative.
Everything is centred around one man and that needs to change.
I’ve given up he’s here for the foreseeable and when we’re in the bottom half next season maybe then he’ll walk.I’d just hope that when Wilder finally goes
And managing us in 40. THAT'S THE DREAM. Wilder's Grandkid. Proper Bleds.Babby will be playing for us in 20 years time!
Probable relegation, I'd wager. We'll never know of course, but the style of play was non-existent, the tactics were anyone's guess, the recruitment was shambolic, the spine of the side was totally absent, we were weak as piss, easy to run through and created naff all. He had no means of bringing together the squad and rallying the troops.Maybe Wilder should be given some praise for not telling COH to F off, and to have saved the club from possible relegation.
It hurts me say this, but its who we are really, a club whats just drifting along, rudderless at the top and basically little ambition, so we go for a safe bet! Usually somebody whats failed elsewhere, and we hope its going to work, it hardly does so we again turn on the bladeybladeness tap onI'm undecided on Wilder but it seems like whenever we're looking for a new manager all the names we're linked with are terrible. Seems like it ends up being more a case of hoping we don't get this one or that one rather than actually being excited about any of the names in the frame.
I'll make the argument all day everyday. Waste of time when you completely dismiss results and points as irrelevant. Almost like you don't care about any argument that isn't Wilder is shit.when will anyone who postures this redundant argument, make their case for why Wilder should remain in charge?

Yep and when a blade and manager is getting called names by his own supporters its game over. They ain't changing their minds or listening to CW fans.I'll make the argument all day everyday. If the alternative is Will Still or Liam Manning, then I'd rather Wilder until he's 78.Wilder will be here next season whether some like it or not.

After Rosenior’s finished making a tit of himself at Chelsea I bet COH will fancy a dabble in some more ex-Hull magicIf the alternative is Will Still or Liam Manning, then I'd rather Wilder until he's 78.
