Is this the most boring off season..

I don't know mate.

After the emotional rollercoaster of the late season collapse and then inevitable play off failure, followed by the mass vaginal discharge amongst our fanbase following the Wilder departure, and further leakage following Selles' appointment, I am personally rather enjoying a few weeks of relative calm where I don't need to think too much about us.

I am hoping that the lack of public facing activity is a sign of a well run football club, quietly and diligently going about its summer business. But we will see.

And as you rightly say, that lot are giving us a giggle a minute, and it doesn't look like that is going to change any time soon. It's nice being the grown up, professional half of the city. Hopefully I am not setting myself up for a fall with that last comment.

The Blades could do with adding some more firepower into their squad over the next couple of months. One player who would be ideal for the South Yorkshire outfit is Leeds United attacker Joe Gelhardt.

Gelhardt, 23, is facing an uncertain future at Elland Road after they won the second tier title. He is unlikely to get much game time with the Whites in the top flight so an exit would be a sensible move for him in this window.

He is a player who Selles knows well following their time at Hull City together in the last campaign. The forward linked up with the Tigers on loan in January to get some minutes and went on to score five goals in 20 games to help them survive.

Who's pushing this story the Leeds management?

Wouldn’t bother me if we do almost nothing apart from loan signings.

Would mean there’s no sales, which would help us have one of the strongest squads in the league.

Regards loans…many will already be provisionally agreed but won’t go though until just before the season starts. It just seems boring because there’s no World Cup or Euros.

Until Seles has had a week or two training with the players, getting to know them and having a better idea of what needs to be done things are likely to be a little bit quiet, aren’t they?
Although now he’ll go and buy everyone mentioned in the Rumours Mill section. Exciting stuff! It’s what dreams are made of.

It’s still very early.

Players contacts usually officially expire yesterday / today.

Most players do not report back for pre-season until this week. I think we’re only back today.

Most will have been on holiday.

Fuck all usually happens in June. July / early August are the busy months.

Hardly any signings have been completed across the board yet compared to the overall number that will get completed.

People need to chill out and show some patience. Nothing ever really happens this early. It’s time to get worried if we’ve not done anything in 3/4 weeks time.

Not sure how much more you want ?

Wilder gone.
New owners.
New manager.
Players set to leave.
Players set to sign.

Pigs house is falling down (quite literally).
Cakeball 2 cancelled.
Chansiri thinks his own fans are cunts (agree mate).

Bannan reported to have handed his notice in, amongst others..

3 transfer window embargo and 7k wage cap.

Danny (GOD of all the universe) told them to shove the club up thier arses.

Further punishments to come for them.

Plenty going on.

something something Chris Wilder
something something club is dead to me
something something AI
something something foreigner
something something owners are dead to me

I don't know, hardly been uneventful

The primary thing is we don’t go into the first game of the season with lots of business left to do.

New Manager, new Owners, new tactical system. Let’s get the majority of the business done early.
I would think they'll address 2/3 centre halves and a right back first . With the existing squad at least we'd solidify the defensive issues.

It would be refreshing to actually see a starting eleven close to resembling our best team on day one, without having to wait until mid-October to see new signings as they're not fit from not having a pre-season with their previous team or with us.

Or waiting on a striker who's signing in 72 hours
