Leicester fans trouble...

There was a mob of them on the corner of the away end outside the Cricketers giving it the big un for around 10 mins....40 or 50 of them looking for trouble...bouncing up and down with 3 or 4 coppers around them who should have made go in the ground but didnt. It's a while since I ve seen anything like that outside.tje ground

Dont think they've ever forgiven us for completely taking over their ground and taking the piss at Filbert Street in May 90.

They are the sort who have a huge fkin chip on their sad shoulders. The world's moved on lads. Most of em involved in those days have moved on too, and grown up, had families, got fat, don't go anymore, spent too much time in the nick etc etc. Only the sad bastards remain trying to impress young wannabe puppies aged about 17 with acne.

And for the record they were overrated back in the bad old days anyway, and came unstuck a few times against the United lads (one time on the London underground). Time to move on you sad twats. Threatening to scutch some bar staff...fuk me he sounds like he's the main man of the 'Baby Squad'.

Bit of a tussle outside JE JAMES to by all accounts, but just UTD fans falling out apparently?

Not sure if the same incident, but two were guarding an area taped off later on. L.. So not sure if something more serious, or just looked it.

Sounds about right. Our fans doing the inflicting for once but it's another one of ours on the receiving end...

Wankers. There were a few away fans drinking around London Road again (same as last week, something I think should be encouraged). No trouble at all. Saw a few in the Cremorne even (which is a first for me).

Had a drink in The Sentinel after with a couple of Leicester who were sound, had a bit of banter but they were most complimentary about us, the stadium and the day they'd had out.

On the one hand, I'm tempted to say it's time the decent pubs around the ground enforced the "home fans only" rule. Mainly because I take my kids to games, and the Dev Cat is one of the pubs I regularly drink in. On the other, it would be such a fucking a shame that we let neanderthals drag us down to their level.

Saw a Leicester top boy giving it the “big I am” outside the ground. Funnily enough, once he had his credentials checked he was hiding behind the coppers.

What has the world come to hey?

On the positive side, thought we played well against a quality Leicester team. Well done Blades.

Couldn't stop laughing at all their "Top Boys" hiding behind the Police horses.

Me and Mrs. G walked past them, had a look, but they didn't want to make eye contact, just noisy little boys.

It’s the PL mate. This is what they are reduced to. 🤣🤣🤣

Agreed Rodley mate, I am not a trouble causer, but don't act the big "I am" if I am nearby, because I might just act questions.

Me and the Mrs were on holiday in Seville 2 years ago last February when they played them (Seville} in the Champions league. They brought about 10k fans most without tickets.
Most were ok but the hard guys tried it on with the Spanish riot police - I'll let you guess who 'won' - just to say they don't fuck about over there, especially with English fans

Lol....we walked straight through them!

Walked to the ground from the City Hall did not see any trouble only a few gobby gits who had had too much lager in the sunshine. Always enjoy visiting the Lane, thought the Blades played well, pleased with the win as it was always going to be a tough game.

Yes you are pal. But only to people north of you, keep saying you are northerners to everyone else.
Suppose we could be anything. There's a post in Leicestershire that is apparently the exact middle point of England. Love to know who had to measure that out with a click wheel 😂

They seemed a bit lively queueing to get in about 20 before kick off, but didn't notice any issues outside of that, not that it was an issue at all. Odd, if it kicked off in the Cat then I thought I might have noticed something heading to the game from the Common Room

Wankers aside. Every Premier league away fan will have put a ring around the date on their collective calendars, when they play SUFC. For many it’s a new ground in a city centre location with plenty of welcoming watering holes to boot. You can see the attraction for proper fans and wankers alike.

Fair enough. All clubs have them but it is embarrassing to read what's gone on today
Nothing to be embarrased about. 2 or 3 knobs get chucked out of a pub, every club has em. Few being mouthy, it's just the way some people are. 99% just enjoying a good day in the sun, a beer and some passionate football.

We just walked through that and no one even blinked they just kept acting hard behind the coppers

Yeah, me and the Mrs walked through and no one said a thing.

That being said, a couple of seasons ago, I walked out of Port Vale, and they had a police line holding back their "top lads" and I walked to the Police line and said "mate, I need to get through", "why?", "because I parked my car in the home end mate, me and my mrs. need to go and drive home", "can't let you through, we need to avoid any trouble".....

Yeah....whatever....so me and Mrs G just walked through the Police line and all the "Vale" lads parted and we just walked through.

Most people love to jump up and down and shout, but don't want confrontation..........

Baby Sqaud , haven’t heard of them for a while we
never had much trouble moving them along , either one of their “ firms “ back in the ( bad ) old days

I saw a bunch of about 30 to 40 plonkers being escorted by the police from outside the Washington down to the ground. They mostly looked like a bunch a lads who'd just discovered drinking, they had flags as well which made them look a bit silly.

They sang the same songs and chants that every other boring team in the country sings. It's like there's a default standard set of football chants printed every year for teams with boring unimaginative fans to use from boring run of the mill places like Leicester.
