Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock says he will not be raiding former club Sheffield United for defenders Chris Morgan and Chris Lucketti.

The veteran duo are currently out of favour with Blades manager Bryan Robson, but their ex-boss has ruled out a reunion at Selhurst Park.

"We couldn't afford Morgan, and Lucketti wouldn't come down to London," Warnock told the South London Press.

"The squad needs strengthening in two or three areas, but that doesn't mean the players coming in would get straight in the side. We just need more strength in depth."

i know the mirror isn't exactly a great paper to rely on but in today's edition bolton are set to 'snap up' morgan for £2 million because he's an old fashion english style defender that megson is looking for
