Unsurprisingly no Blades in it, although I thought Billy might have a squeak can't argue with Grigg and Armstrong up front. Div 2 team is full of players we should be interested in but no doubt won't be

Fellow league 1 professional football players or managers. , cannot see what Hammond does off the ball and on the ball , like us blades fans or he would have been picked . . Anyway Adkins still loves him , and he might make the team voted next season. ( championship ) :p

Pierre and Nelson crying out to be bought. (In fact, they've both got big "for sale" signs hanging off them.)

If we'd had any serious intention of going up this year we should have stuck a bid in for Dack the minute the ref blew for Full Time at Priestfield.

Adam Armstrong should never be in the L1 team - he hasn't scored for half a season. Yet he's in ahead of Ajose? And even Sharp? That's got to be a joke.

Really good to see the top 15 full of Wigan players we could've signed.

Agree about Pierre, he's left footed too. Appears to be a perfect option for us.

John Fleck's out of contract this summer and is a decent enough player, also left footed. Worth considering.

Matty Taylor at Bristol Rovers has been shit hot but we can probably forget about him.

There's at least one Blade <Lee Gregory> in the L1 team of the year.

We should be cherry picking the best players in L1 as a policy to get out of this dreadful division.

1. Bradley Dack?

How can he be in goal he's only effing 5ft 5.

What a joke.

What a joke.

Wherever he plays how can he have made the team if only 5ft 5in. We know at the lane that any player between 5ft 5 and 5ft 8 is shit , not a footballer , not strong enough .

Just cannot believe , it must be fixed. Also no fucker who is 33 years of age . Couldn't make it up .

Second year running now no Blades players good enough to make the team of the year at third tier level.

An indication of the direction of travel the club is heading in. Should be a wake up call for McCabe and co. But it won't be.

Should be a wake up call for them who make the list out for players wanted and recruited never mind the cost . McCabe just signs the cheques as it were .

Both Clough and Adkins certainly haven't set the league alight with the players brought in.

You don't have to spend big bucks to collate a winning team and mentality .

This off-season we need to be billy big bollocks, sign the best players we possibly can and state our intentions. Wigan did that, we mocked their chairman for what he said before the season started and look who's laughing now.

Agree but if we did that we would fall flat on our arse. We just ain't got the money to compete with the likes of Wigan in the transfer market , so it's a good job they are being promoted. Truth be known I bet we haven't a pot to piss in.

Pathways , Hammond and all that jazz next season .

Didn't Done get in last season... probably more to do with his first half of the season performances though.

If we'd have done that after Ched went down, Wilson's second season, we probably wouldn't have stayed in this league for another four seasons, and wasted all the money we have.
KM seems to prefer to lose £5m a year (or whatever figure he wants to make up this week) for five years to avoid losing £10m in one year.

Ajose can feel very hard done by to be left out. top scorer whilst playing for such a mediocre team is an achievement

Yes but Armstrong was on fire at the start of the season, and that's what counts most. Make an impact early on and that's it, minds are made up.

Or just say no to selling Blackman when we were top of the league.
