It's kind of weird we went from Danny Wilson to David Weir. Saves money on buying any new training jackets with DW on it.
Then Nigel to Nigel. Saves changing anything with the name "Nige" on it.

This years fixture list is for division three, bet next seasons is as well.

I want him out,wrong man for us,but who do we get??.
The compensation is also a major reason.
We need him to resign but he wont.
My preference would probably be billy davies for his gritty no holds barred approach but would we be shouting for his head if he couldn't get the shower playing for him?!?yes!?!
I will always support the manager of sufc but doesnt mean i cant wish him gone,at the end of the day we are sitting 12th in third tier of English footy with 3 away wins all season and we not easy on the eye either.
I just hope 15 games into nx season we've not took another step back,because it may be the case regardless of whom is our boss.

Like I've said all season keep him in the summer and let him build his own squad that's how he got Scunthorpe through promotions and Southampton promoted to the premier league mainly with Scunthorpe he was given he chance to build his own squad and it worked theirs too many players at this club and we've seen quite a few departures already Collins alcock etc players like scougall j Wallace Campbell ryce etc who've gone out on loan wont be here next season most likely

Keep Adkins for next season I say, but I do have huge concerns that he will give Hammond a contract which to me is a sackable offence in it's own right.

I prepared a very long and carefully argued response but even I was bored by it. So I refined it.

I'm sick of the spin. At least Wilson said we're not performing and put his finger or perspective on why. Adams just blamed everybody else, Weir went and hid and Clough blamed McNulty. I just can't take any more of the relentless positivity in the face of the overwhelming evidence of incompetence. Cut that out, say there's no money, they're not my players, the ones that have gone and are going were wasters and freeloaders and wait till I get my players in. Then, notwithstanding your clear deficiencies in selection and formation Mr Adkins I will judge you. The most damning indictment on your stay so far is that I could't care too much either way what happens to you.

Forget looking back on the sins of the past and start looking forward. Can you see this man leading us to glory??? Course you cant, no one can, he has done nothing to give us hope, so why persevere????? Good post Woody . Adkins IMO is keeping his job by default .

Saturday was baffling with the team selection.

Adkins seems to see a different match to the rest of us.

We all thought a bit of tweaking preseason and we would have a promotion chasing side.

The benchmark was set at the first match at Gillingham and has not been changed , but perhaps got worst .

What's the answer. I am sure McCabe thinks the same as us - completely bemused , lost and doesn't know what to do.

How many posters before the season started said the board needed to give money to Adkins to recruit properly, irrespective of whether or not we could get players out?
It wasn't just me.
Whilst I didn't expect to be 12th now, I didn't expect promotion.
We weren't good enough last season and limped into the playoffs. We've since lost B Davies, Doyle, Murphy, S Davies and Holt.
You can't just pick up strikers, centre halves and creative players on frees, it's very rare they become available and certainly highly unlikely that a number of top L1 standard players will all be available at once.
If the board refuses to buy players, apart from the occasional stupid fucking gamble on the likes of the beard, but insists on signing loans and frees, we'll stay in this division until we stumble on another Bassett or Warnock and they only turn up every twenty years or so.
This is McCabe's strategy, I remember him going on about it years ago and going on like he'd just reinvented the wheel. Shit like that only works if you have a Warnock type manager. Tell me who the modern Warnock is? There isn't one.
