For a long time many Blades have written off this season and announced how they can't wait for next after " The big clearout". Displaying unwavering faith that we will buy well this Summer.

Now the season is all but over, how confident are you that Adkins will recruit well? Do you trust him to spend well this Summer?

Yes as I don't really feel he has been given much of a budget this season.

It seems a one out then one in process with no guarantees he will be allowed to replace who goes out.

It's hard to guess what the board are thinking - allow him a transfer budget or look how he's spent money so far and have second thoughts?

They're going to have to consider this very carefully at some point and it could mean that a sacking is far more likely than we think.

But where do Woolford and Hammond fit into the equation?

(1+1) = 0 ?

Woolford was a free and I'm guessing a back up for Murphy who he expected to play every game anyway.

Hammond seems to have been brought in for much more than just footballing reasons. I really hope we don't sign him.

The only budget I'm bothered about is my footy and beer budget. As long as I've got my season ticket and some brass I'll be there with my mates supping real ale and eating decent grub on match day.

They wont spoil my footy days out no matter how hard they try.

Good to meet Highbury_Blade Kenilworth Greenwich Blade wimbledon blade Kempy bartman Foxy Linz et al.

It's what footy is all about - bollocks to the footy ;)

There is no budget.

The only manager who would put us within a shout of promotion next season is Neil Warnock.

Couldn't agree more.

I am still waiting for people to show me their working out that we have some sort of miraculous suitcase full of tenners, twenties and fifties with which to go shopping in the summer.

McCabe has apparently stuffed 8 million into the club this season, even with the sale of Murphy for *coughity-cough*.

According to some, we'll jettison some players in the summer break. That will save us *coughity-cough*

Which will be freely available to Adkins alone to get target players.

Of course it will.

Don't trust Adkins takin the bin up at this moment in time.

Wouldn't trust Adkins with my friend's kid's lunch money

Hammond is solid but ordinary, Woolford is solid but ordinary, sharp is solid but ordinary...sharp shines because the rest are like pub players...

We are a pub team, and it's not really about today it's about the whole season, Adkins needs to fuck off, why has he changed a winning team today??

What have we got to lose by having a go at them??

Fuck him off for me, he's not got it anymore...clearly, we've gone backwards..

Adkins will need the full summer, the 6-12 players to retain are pretty much finalised, so he needs to take that up to 18-20 with permanent signings.

He is doing a great job at Rotherham Za but, even he couldn't perform miracles with this squad, it is beyond any manager. The one consolation is that virtually each and every one of the useless twats would be given the mother and father of tongue lashings to remember their time at the Lane, prior to being shown the door.

Your last four words BOS are exactly what NA and his team think as well.

Rubbish. Look at the players he's brought back in at Rotherham - wasters, losers, Twitterwankers - and turned them into lads that will die for the badge. Overnight.

Yes I'm already looking forward to the next bunch of tossers we bring In like that useless bastard Hammond or that shit cunt woolford or crocks like baptiste

I want to know why so many wanted Cough out asap but want to keep Adkins
clough had a 47 per cent win ratio , adkins is 40 per cent, only 2 better than Bleeding Brian Robson

Should have been sacked ages ago, but all those people tweeting Jim about us firing too many managers has gotten to the board.

It's absolute nonsense really, Walsall have had 4 managers (yes i know they weren't all sacked) this season and are 3rd in the league. Watford have had approximately 17 million managers in about 5 years and are halfway up the premier league. Not saying it's right to keep firing managers all the time, but it's a total myth that we fire an unusually high amount of managers. Everybody keeps changing managers, not just us.

We only fire them, because they don't do owt. Firing Clough was a mistake, should have let him get us up this season on a tighter budget. He would have probably got the sack halfway through next season anyway, should have used him for the job we needed him for ie keep this rabble motivated. Adkins has been the worst manager we've had in decades, yes worse than even Weir because he has a better team to work with. It started with making phucking McEveley captain and he's never really done anything right since.
