For giving these wasters a second (third, fourth?!) chance to fail at this club.
I really do feel sorry for him, 99% of these players will never play for a bigger club. infact if it wasn't for him they'd be playing for much smaller clubs already, he gave them a chance and they haven't only let him down from an ability point of view they've let him, us and the club down by not giving a fuck. That's unforgivable.

I think certain people are unhappy how Nige has treat a few of their 'mates' (i.e. got rid) and they're choosing to show that on the pitch. Totally unprofessional as well as a cunts trick. If they want to let their mates ruin their own careers, more fool them.
The only players who can come out of this season are, well, it's just one player. His name is Billy Sharp.

He thought he could polish a turd, sorry Nigel but it's nearly wrecked your reputation. The poisoned chalice. No more Mr Nice Guy, we have to get rid of this poisonous group or we're going to get the same cycle repeating itself. If Collins gets his way he'll end up getting Adkins sacked and this fucking board will make him player manager. Oh fuck... Shudder.

If we get rid of them, and the board let him create a quick, hungry, young team with an experienced spine he might be able to turn it round, but it's time to write this season off.

This isn't Sheffield United. But it will be. Just got to hang on in there.

Exactly how I feel Danny. I know there are many who insist that we should also sack the manager but I'm in the keep him and let him build his team camp.
The reason for us all being so optimistic about this season was the fact the team finished the season in the play offs and just needed 2/3 additions to make it a contender for the top 2. It's patently obvious that Adkins tactics and style of management to the players is about as popular as his post match interviews are to us. . . . .load of codswallop!

And yet he's been allowed to make on permanent signing all season.

Bollocks.

The major factors for our position last year were Murphy and Brayford. One was sold by the board, the other isn't the same player he was before his injury.
Also, Clough agreed (along with the clueless board) to waste circa 10k a week on Sammon.

Adkins said before we sold Murphy we weren't good enough for promotion. The day the board accepted that offer from Brighton, our hopes of going up died.

He hasn't been able to polish a turd but unfortunately that is what he is going to be asked to do again this summer because there is going to be very little Money available to replace the muppets being jettisoned.

It going to take a Bassett or Warnock like ability to put a squad of cheap and free signing together and make said squad competitive next season.

Does Adkins have that in him? that is a huge question.

He did it at Scunthorpe, so dosen`t need a big budget, but getting the players he wants quicker than we have done this campaign, is going to be crucial for next season.
No doubt there is going to be a big turnover of players, and next year, it will be HIS team.

Of the players still currently at the club (i.e not out on loan) who are the supposed bad eggs? Not being clever here, it's a genuine question. I see a lot of posts referring to the bad influences in the squad and wondered who they may be?

Bollocks really? There are no world beaters in this team. .. granted, but why have so many experienced pros collectively "gone on strike". Before the season started everybody, probably including yourself would have said keep the nucleus of squad with addition of centre back, centre mid and striker. I wanted so much for Adkins to succeed but I don't thing he's demonstrated the credentials we all thought he had in the last 30 odd games.

I want to know where all this blue-sky, optimistic thinking is coming from that McCabe is simply going to shit casefuls of crisp fifty-notes out of his balloon-knot and hey-presto ... fifteen ('cos that's what is needed, base-minimum) brand-new, talented, fast, football-agile players who we don't have to Wiki-much will be posing in front of the kop holding a (hopefully equally red-and-white) United shirt with their name on the back.

It's just not gonna happen. McCabe more-or-less wrote his intent across the sky early on this season (in case you missed it) by installing an expensive football pitch and selling our remianing football avatar to the first bidder to pay for the fucker.

Keep rubbing the rabbit's foot, guys. Come the first game of the 2016-17 season, we'll see the same old fucking faces running out for us.

Its difficult, but we have got to hang in there, correct, he aint covering himself with glory

But he has got troubles right left and centre, above him, all around, I think he is creaking under the strain of all the shite, but he keep picking himself up

Despite us :)

Let try sumat different and give him time

(someone may need to remind me of this stance sometime in the future)

Ta.

So looking at that, no one really knows but recurring names of Scougall, Baxter and Coutts crop up. Baxter is seemingly now gone, I suspect. The problem is that 2 of those are still contracted for next season so won't simply be a case of releasing them at the end of the season.

Collins is another. He is a confidence wrecker of those around him, Always big in giving out the bollockings, never man enough to admit blame himself for his own wrongdoings.

He shadows McCabe, in that sense. They're probably very good mates.

Precisely, and this is why I won't judge him too harshly yet. Only takes a couple of bad eggs to spoil an omelette and our particular omelette seems to carry an odour of old semen and the consistency of a wet turd. It makes one question where we've been buying our fucking eggs from.

When he puts together his team, then we'll see whether he's really up to the task. There'll be nowhere to hide after that. I hope he's up to it.

Did he? There really is no end to Cloughs magic powers. Think you nailed it with everything else but the sentence is as you would say, bollocks.

How do the experts on here know Mccabe or the Prince will not be spending for next season? I have read from both mccabe and adkins that there is money to be had for player recruitment, now I know its currently the thing to knock everything about the club while everything is so depressing but do some on here know or are they just saying theres no money but actually don't have the faintest idea.

McCabe said there was money there for "the next level". I think everyone sees that as. The Championship.

Come on, we all know Sammon was a done deal when Clough was at the club, the signings of Woolford and Hammond have been poor so 50/50 for Adkins in the transfer market which isn't too bad as it is now blindingly obvious he never had much money to spend despite what Jim Phibbs says. Adkins has had very little help from any direction within the club and I can see this continuing next season, if ever a manager needed to pull a rabbit out of the hat then Adkins does otherwise he will be yet another fall guy for the useless and clueless McCabe.

With an option for a fourth.

I thought it was common knowledge Clough had this deal signed up? Bit of a coincidence after a shitload of rumours since Clough took over he signs for us...
I think it's pretty obvious.

You can agree deals outside the window.

Sean,I agree with that but I am not talking about large sums for the next level, I read into their comments meaning money available now, obviously not huge amounts but money available to the current manager to get us out of this division but some comments on here state there is no money and I was wondering is this true? It f so how do they know? Again back to the big stick.

Precisely. When people started to queestion the 'Game Changing Investment' horseshit, he was quick to realign that with the 'we'll spend when we get promoted' schtick, as if that was just going to make us go "Um, okay Kev".

When he brought HRH on board, many were yippeeing and doing the Henman fist as if all our nightmares were over. No details really about how far the investment was, where it was to be invested and if any of it (as it turned out 'none') would be ploughed into improving the ever-depleting shower of talent on the pitch. Usually when some middle eastern investor comes visiting, you see some sort of improvement to the playing staff and an upturn in form. It's just not happened, has it? All we have done is sell players, buy shit replacements and sack/payoff mangers.

Now, people are eagerly proclaiming a clear out in the summer. That's just wages, isn't it? End of contract, cheers mate, that's saved us between two to ten grand a week (if that) per player. Add all of that up and you won't really get much net gain from a few hundred grand a year, will you? If thirteen players pack their bags and piss off, all we save is wages. Its not as though we have buckets and buckets of capital to buy loads of decent players on the transfer market. All we will have is the residuals from the end of contracts to invest. And that will only fund low-purchase (i.e. shit/undisclosed) replacements, freebies (i.e. too shit for anyone else and hold no footballing value) or loaness.

Don't be fooled by the smoke and mirrors.
