I know it would have ramifications but someone who might restore a bit of passion to the Blades at the moment would be... Nigel Pearson. (And after him it could be Claudio. :))

We do tend to do quite well with ex-Piggies (Curran apart ugh!!)

Pearson I think would give us that Warnockesque streak of passion without re-employing NW. Mind whether he would come or not, who knows. Over the years SUFC have not been known as gutless but this season....

I reckon if he came in now we'd get into the play offs. I believe he has that motivational capability.

It is really funny you should say that. I was working in Coalville Monday and having a conversation with a Leicester fan about their dreamy season and when we got on to Pearson, it kept creeping in to my head as we talked, could he be the one:eek:.

He most recently did a decent job managing in the prem. Zero chance of him coming here!

Why would he come here, ex-pig who last managed in the PL. His next job will most probably be in the Championship and not L1.

Wonder if Di Matteo will ring up this time round.....

You forget that kevin macabre has already stated that we won't be getting rid of Niger adkins we've got rid of too many managers in the past
