I have never wanted to see a season end so quickly as what I do this season. It is really depressing.
When I went down Gillingham on the opening day I genuinely thought with the appointment of Adkins we would go up this season, I thought he'd play a little more positive and we'd win the games we'd been getting draws in.
I can remember looking at the clock after 15 minutes and thinking we had no hope if this was what we had.
At half time I was impressed the manager saw need for changes and brought big burly Connor Samon on then, instead of waiting until the 88th minute. At that point I thought we could get back into the game. After 20 minutes or so of watching Samon I realised we would be better off with a real f*cking Salmon up front.
I have been hugely disappointed with the management of the club this season I really thought we had acquired a brilliant manager. My Wednesday mates were even saying they wish they had got him as they still seemed in turmoil back then. How things quickly change.
I have no idea what the answer is or where we should go from here. However at this moment in time I feel as down as the Adrian Heath days.
I would love another Bassett or Warnock at the lane, a manager with some bollocks about him.
On the plus side, at least we won't have to fork out for Wembley trips this season.
