Given the lads history involving drugs over many years, he was clearly high risk; so I wonder if the club were pro-active and set up their own testing unannounced drug regime for employees?
Which organisation undertook the drug test that actually caught him?
I'd really hope it was the club's own testing ! If it was the FA testers then we have failed..
How well was he monitored, how much support did we actually give him?
Remember we invested a lot in Baxter in terms of transfer fees, wages and potential resale value.
To me this about managing a problem, and by implication a reflection in part on Adkins, and the Board.

I really hope we as a club attempted the carrot and stick approach to try and help Baxter sort out his own life and career.
