He won't be starting next season with any club.

I reckon he'll get a 6 month ban minimum, probably 9 months to a year.

The rules of that ban are you are not allowed to train with the club.

No club will be offering the idiot a contract until his suspension ends.

He will get the maximum 2 year ban, I can tell you that now.

Plus any club would not take him on, unless he has been through a thorough and comprehensive rehabilitation, and he has clean of drugs for a lengthy period of time.

Based on the fact he is currently on a suspended sentence/ban, his new punishment will be a heavy one

He means this:

Here are the suspension periods for social drugs.

I'm not sure if his 3 months suspended sentence for his first offence is added to the minimum 6 months.

Given the possibility that he lied about the circumstances of his appeal for his first offence, it would not surprise me if it turns our to be 9 months to a year. If he does it again, his career is fucked so I don't know where any confidence that he'll get fixed up with another club comes from. He will not be allowed to train with any new club until one month before the suspension ends.

(a) for a first violation – a minimum of a warning and a maximum of 6 months suspension;
(b) for a second violation – a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 2 years suspension;
(c) for a third violation – a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of a permanent suspension; and
(d) for a fourth violation – a minimum of a permanent suspension.

He won't be at any club next season as he'll be serving what I expect will be a 2 year ban.

Yeah, the Football Association, apparently. Not sure they'll be so quick to believe him this time though ;)

The only outcome I can see is a maximum two year ban, which will mark the end of his professional football career.

I don't think he'll be appealing this time. He'd probably be well advised to plead guilty if he wants to minimise his ban.

Did anybody really believe him last time when he said his drink was spiked?

Peteblade did not believe him.

Peteblade thought he was a silly bastard who used a dumb excuse and couldn't believe he was taken seriously.

Peteblade thinks Baxter is a bit of a twat that should ply his trade elsewhere.

Rumour has it the club hes trying to join
THE MILE HIGH CLUB

Brownie has spent the majority of his working life having to undergo regular screenings for drink and drugs, and has a group of mates who know that his career is dependent on passing them all without fail, Brownie can categorically state his circle of friends is superior to Jose Baxters circle of friends.

Does PeteBlade agree with Siirius that Baxter is a first rate twat and should be added to the appropriate thread?
