If we play like we did at Bury the other day, I am fully expecting protests in the car park at 5pm. But if you're going to be standing outside in the rain and cold, might I suggest a little foresight into your objectives before you turn up all angry with your shoes aloft? The whos, whys and wherefores.

I applaud your passion. I fear they have beaten it out of me. But if you want to be listened to, get your demands straight.

"Sack the board"? - Well, the issue is you can't sack an owner, if that's what you mean. You'll have to come up with something better than that.

"Sack the manager"? - Fair enough, if that's what you want. But back to the point above, you know who will be recruiting the next one.

"Back the manager"? - Bit late now for that innit?

"Play like the highly paid professionals you're supposed to be, instead of the gutless twats you appear" - This sentiment I can get behind, but I think the majority are beyond caring and in the event of a defeat, will have exited the ground in a speed we hadn't witnessed all afternoon,

So should the need arise to vent your spleen post-match, what exactly do you want?

simple: McCabe to sell up (ground included!!!). He's the common theme throughout our troubles for the past 10 years.

Will it improve without him? Who knows, it can't get much worse!

"Sack the board".(McCabe)

Of course, in itself, it is a silly statement. But the valuation of a club will be entirely linked to how happy the owner is with his asset. Making him very uncomfortable about the situation is a good thing, from here.

While your at it beware of these nobheads coming over from Stoke ,always keen on a bit of scrapping ,today will be right up their street.

A brothel next to the pie counter.

It's a bit long to put on a banner... can you make an acronym?

That's the problem isn't it.

There are far too many different things wrong at the club to come up with any slogan short enough.

But I do think what I've outlined above should be included in any written demands we make to them as supporters.

I think 'sack the board' is the most likely option for now though - even though that's not exactly suitable. It could just give them a kick up the arse.

Can we fit the words to an acronym that spells 'DO YOUR JOBS MORONS'?

I'll be there in the car park, unless I am cold, or its raining, or I want to get to the pub. Actually now I think about it - I definitely won't be there.

Fans are not in a position to make any demands, it's their club, their team and their ground. The only tools you have at your disposal are to stay away or go and make the club as uncomfortable as possible by refusing to sing GCB, car park protests, walking out etc.

These are not reasonable people, they are power and money junkies, they care nowt about you the fan. Manifestos etc are bum paper to them. The only thing you will get in return for your protests will be lies and platitudes.

Something like 'Competence or sell up' maybe and even that sounds naff but it is true. As already mentioned all of our problems are difficult to put in a few words across a banner.

Barneys going today. I'm sure he'll post a photo of any demo or even the scoreboard to save any mischievous comments that he didn't go.

This is the general complaint which most want to happen (including me).

However the response from McCabe would be "what do you think I've been trying to do?"
I suppose the sticking point is that McCabe would value the club at a high amount putting off investors But to be fair if investors are worried about a few million then they've dont have enough funds anyway. We need a billionaire not a millionaire or a consortium of several ambitious millionaires.

Another issue for the fans.
Should McCabe sell to anyone or only to people who he trusts can take SU forward?

It's been said before but McCabe could sell to Lee Fuck Yoo the Chinese billionaire.
Lee instantly does a Chansiri and puts prices up to £30 on the Kop and £35 in the other stands for league 1 football. He then changes the badge a little and puts a Chinese dragon on it.
He brings in a top Chinese manager and we buy half the Chinese international team all on £20K a week wages.
On the field it's successful as we find ourselves top of league 1 but the club makes a 20 million loss just its first year. There are rumours that we might be sanctioned or prevented from promotion due to ignoring FFP rules.

However I wouldn't be going because for me the club would be dead.
So be careful what you wish. At least McCabe is a Blade a cares about the club.

I look at the comments by 90% of our fans and they live on another planet.
I can understand the comments
Let's sack the board. We don't need anyone running the club. We don't need a manager.
Let the fans run the club. Let the fans pick the team and choose players etc etc.
Let's all season ticket holders (13,000 of us) put in £3000 quid to buy out the board forgetting that it would be £3000 every year for possibly many years with no gaurantee you'll get your money back and every time someone drops out the fee goes up. How many Blades care enough about the club to throw money into a pit.

But it's total nonsense

'Passion' and 'entertainment' and there's a good chance the rest will follow (including getting rid of a manager who doesn't know the meaning of the words). Some people say 'It's all about winning and the rest is immaterial' but they're wrong. Blackwell had a good win-per-game ratio but the football was turgid.

A bloke was on FH last night saying he 'couldn't wait' to go to the Barnsley v Donnie game today. 'A proper South Yorkshire derby.'

I can't remember the last United game I 'couldn't wait' to attend. Here's my predictions.

A turgid first half, in which the opposition goalkeeper wasn't tested once.
In the second half, Port Vale realise we're there for the taking and begin to press.
United pull all eleven back, inviting PV onto us. ('Oi, Done! What are you doing up near the halfway line when your aerial prowess is better utilised defending the latest in a long line of corners we've conceded?')
Port Vale score.
A large number of our intolerant and impatient fans decide to leave to catch Bournemouth v Everton and watch a wierd, alien game called 'football'.
With two minutes left, NA puts on J C-R as sub. On the left wing....

Agreed, but it is our money they are after, often given up in the name of loyalty

Just look at this Season Home shirt ................ only a sniff of bladiness

Just them having to contemplate us holding onto our cash will ruffle their corporate carpet pile

But thats not where we are today ...................
