I'm not too sure anymore
As we all know the start to the season has been a complete disaster to say the least. I think that with a little more time, Robson CAN change fortunes at the club and we will start climbing the table.

What do you all expect or predict to happen?

A Mid-Table finish.

Can't see us getting promotion at all.

Sunderland were on more points than us this time last season.

at the minute...mid-table.
i like your optimism but i just can't see us doing anything under Robson and i still think that he should go...in an ideal world i hope we win against preston and give them a r8 good hammering and thats when our season kick's off and hopefully we'll make the play-offs but under robson i just can't see that happening

yeah, but look how well they did.....play offs still a huge possibility for me provided we turn it around soon

I think play-offs just around that area. Weve got a decent squad that just needs fine tuning and well be ok. Just means is Robson the man to fine tune this squad??

Sorry I thought with the money we spent we should be aiming to be champions. I highlighted that fact coz it wasnt that long ago some fans said we could do a sunderland. Although since we have had an even worse start than they did we can certainly rule that out now.

Why? Seems strange to do so after just 10 games.

You can't say we can rule that out though, can you?

For all we know we could finish better than they did.

The play-offs is by no means out of reach, to say so at this point of the season is ridiculous. The problem is that we aren't showing signs of improvement, in fact we are doing the exact opposite.

I still expect us to finish in the play-off positions, when xmas rolls around and the injuries start to hit the early pace setters; we should come into our own.

There is also the distinct possibility that we will strengthen significantly in January too so i'm not prepared to give up on this season just yet.

In an ideal world, robbo would be on his way by now and be replaced by a manager with a bit of passion who would drive us into the automatic promotion places.

As it is, i reckon the board will back Robbo at least until christmas, by which time automatic promotion will be near impossible, and only an amazing winning streak will get us into the play-offs.

Long way to go yet though. look at wednesday last season, they had a bad start but at end of season were challenging for the play-off's.

We have the best (or one of the best) squads in the league. But under Robson we'll not be promoted or come in play off's. Mid-table at minute.

I think your "happy" pills will wear off soon. :loopy:
