is there a list of the players with 2 left feet ?

Not much of a fight actually. Boyer swung a punch and Eddie knocked the shit out of him. Backed him off the pitch punching all the way. Photo in the Star or Morning Telegraph showed them walking towards the touch line after being sent off, EC looking stern but undamaged while Boyer had blood on his face, a torn shirt collar looking like he'd been run over. Copped for plenty more in the tunnel rumour has it.

"Seven shades of shit" was the phrase I heard

In the title winning season in division four we went to Hartlepool and won 2=1 and at half time went to the bog for a waz and Bob Hatton was in their in full kit doing the business, , was a terrible ground short on facilities, he was moaning there was only one toilet in the changing room and someone was having a dump
I went to that game had a right rumble in that stand quality

was a bit naughty pre match in some shed of a pub we went in
Hartlepool would be nicer if the monkeys had hung the locals
Unlike most grounds visited that season we didn't have it all our own way that day

It was a cracking season, I'd agree. However, wasn't that squad picture the season after, though?
Think you're right, given the presence of 'the stain', don't think he was there in the glory season.

Correction. Ma Corker gave me dad's centenary programme at the weekend (Reading) and the picture of the 4th Division Champions team is 'that picture', stain included. Lots of great stuff in the programme - match video available (tick VHS or Beta), half time scoreboard letters (remember that?) and a 6-1 victory against Chester earlier in the season, with Deane and Agana both bagging hat tricks. Brings back memories of Hatton and Edwards doing the same.
