Even the most basic level of common sense would tell you that's an utterly foolish thing to say.

Why is it?
You say he's better so answer the question please?

From the man who compared Messi to Kennedy and who knows details of Kennedy's fitness levels due to half a sentence from Adkins?

Another one for Barney's irony list.

It seemed pretty obvious when Adkins said Tel needed to be playing football that it wouldn't be for us.

That'll rile Pete. No completely obvious assumptions allowed. Of course, he'll be playing football for other teams being as injured as ever. Only in the mind of PeteBlade.

Yes, because it's already been answered. And you're choosing to ignore it because you know I'm right.

I'm ignoring nothing, you asked me nothing...so, once more, how many points have we gained playing 'the better' Kennedy than our current CB's?

You haven't answered that anywhere?

I haven't read all of this "debate" but I will say this. Our record last season with Kennedy in the side in the league was won 6, drawn 3, lost 1. That's promotion form and included some big wins, most notably Bristol City away. It's also better than any 10 game run this year.

If he is fit now he is worth trying imho.

How can he gain us points when he's not been getting in the team?

How foolish a question is that? I honestly can't get over the stupidity of that.

It goes a long way in explaining some of your daftness in other threads mind. All is not lost.

:D I'm not sure which is funnier; your utterly ridiculous points of which you never back down or your complete and utter lack of self awareness.

Either way, you continue to be complete comedy gold.

Please carry on!

I keep asking and I don't get any answers. When was the last time you saw Kennedy play for Sheffield United "in the flesh", i.e. live.

Am I missing something here? Have TK's career threatening knee problems cleared up?

If Kennedy was injured at Cambridge why was he on the bench? Injured players rarely make the bench.

If he is not injured Barney and is the best central defender at the club why then is Adkins refusing to play him?

Are you suggesting Adkins doesn't know he's the best centre back? or he does know but is refusing to play him for some perverse reason?

Maybe Kennedy isn't injured as such but due to his ongoing knee condition (the condition being knackered) despite him being 'uninjured' at this moment Adkins is striving for consistency and it unlikely that will be provided with Tel.

By the way, Tel is a fantastic player and I wish him the best of luck and do hope he can overcome the knee issues, unlikely but here's hoping.

I think the inference is that when you have a galactico such as TK in your squad, you'd throw out the rest of the footballing world's logic of dependable centre half partnerships, and get him on the field for 60 minutes. That way, he can tare the division a new one, just like has happened on the previous 12 injury interrupted master classes. Wibble.

Kennedy's pure defending attributes are better than anyone else's at the club.

Maybe his career won't last much longer but while he's available for selection, even if it's just once or twice a month, we should be making use of him.

We have a good record when he plays but that's not what I base my view on. More his natural defensive ability, organisation skills and suitability for League One. And the fact the other centre halves are unconvincing.

His last appearance at Bramall Lane.

Which was when Barney? What date? Don't worry I won't trawl back through the posts here and on BM to make sure you were there. Honest. Even so, it was so long ago that you wouldn't have a clue what his recent form is.
