I've just noticed that Burton have signed Mason Bennett on loan from (you guessed it) and Stephen Bywater. I just wondered if our other 'rivals' have been doing similarly good business?

I'm gutted Bywater has gone elsewhere, the programme salesmen roster at SUFC needed freshening up. Mason Bennett...meh.

We have already said we won't be signing anyone in January?

Mcabe at the AGM and Adkins in interviews.

We always have bids in for players but clearly we never bid enough - we may sign someone on loan in Feb but that's it.

In the summer we can have a clear out for the 'big push' next season.

I seem to remember first seeing Bywater playing for West Ham their first game after selling ex England goalkeeper James against us at the lane. He was absolutely brilliant that day in thwarting United. He did go down hill after that season.
