If you don't mind sitting with the prawn squad then the Hospitality seats are very good value but are you allowed to purchase as an away supporter?
Not sure mate, but I know of at least one box that will be full of blades

i've got train tickets, opened ended return, i've got visions of me and 4000 other Blades on the platform waiting for the 22:22hrs train home!!! :)
Open ended return lasts for a month, i fink, so next day or so aint out of the question ................ :)

For those going by train, just checked for last train thinking it would be around 10 ish. 8:43!
Got tickets for the 10.28 from Piccadilly with reserved seats for £5.50 each, bought them the day we found out it was Saturday teatime.

With a heavy heart I'll not be going to OT or watching on BT either. If we play shite we'll get tanked and that'll be so depressing. On the other hand if we play out of our skins and get a result I will just feel fucking angry because these "big time Charlies" can't do it the fucking league.

Good luck with your reserved seats. Late trains out-of city centres at a weekend are always full of smashed folk who don't care much about seat reservations. Add in a couple of hundred smashed Blades and getting to your seats will be a challenge.

I recently had the pleasure of sharing a late train with a carriage load of Citeh fans. It was a remarkably intimidating hour *shudder*

If they want to f*** with me good luck to them and if they're top blades they will most likely know me.

Yeah seat reservations coming and going will be a waste of time. I regularly did Sheff to Liverpool train (via Manc) with work and often it was standing room only on 2 or 3 carriages. Transpennine never seem to learn. They never put on enough carriages. I fear for any shoppers/people going to Manc/Liverpool Saturday as trains will be crammed full of Blades.

Luckily they are fairly regularly in morning/early afternnoon so less chhance of problems. We are going very early 8ish so should be fine going but coming back will be a different story with 3 or 4 trains only for Blades to get. We are due to get the 8.30ish one too. We have seats booked but be glad just to get on it. Those trains Sat evening are generally horrendous. They will be cattle trains more than ever with potential for thousands of blades on them. Be horrific. Unless we win!

For anyone on the South side of Sheffield wanting to avoid the trains, there's most likely space on our coach going from Dronfield around 10ish, should be £13-£16 on the day depending on numbers.

Done that a few times. Is there anything more amusing than seeing an overweight middle aged man (that's me) running down a platform, missing his train, then nearly dying as a result?

Winston Churchill, who was always late, said about trains "I'm a fair man, I always give them a sporting chance of getting away".

To all that are going have a great day but you must be out of your minds.
Not really.
I'm going, and all it's costing me is the pint or two before the train in the Sheffield Tap at the station. The rest of it is a nice corporate jolly. Train, pre-match meal and drinks, ticket in the posh seats just behind the director's box, the whole shebang, all sorted and not costing me a bean. I'd be out of my mind to turn that down.

I am sure there is another thread for the above, might be in another section ...

Consider yourself the exception then. That sort of invitation is the only thing that would get me there that's for sure.

Being from somewhere near dingle land, I'm tempted to go to Udders before the game and get a train from there.

Sounds like it's gonna be a bit tasty on the Sheffield trains, especially if ourbob doesn't get his seat! It's gonna get pwoppa nawty.
