Sadly, I think the last few wins got people over excited and some thought we were suddenly good again. The fact remains that our defence is poor and we still have a suspect keeper. As long as those problems remain, we will continue to ship upwards of 3 goals in games.

I often wonder about this... How much money do the club make from ticket receipts and what is the amount we play the players (I know, it'll be in the accounts, but I've not wondered hard enough to read them). Ever since I found myself holding a payslip of a premiership footballer which showed he earned £80K a week and I mused that in my entire life, with the ridiculous amount of football I watch, I won't contribute a fraction of that to the footballing industry. So there must be lot's of factors.
