Young premiership players

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?




We do bring them in LS26 but they usually follow a spell with us by being released by their club to disappear into obscurity. The ones that go back to star for their parent clubs are reserved for the big and ambitious clubs like MK Dons etc.
 
It's because we are trying to provide a pathway for our own youngsters,while other teams in this league bring them in from Prem and Championship,and often better quality than our own...every week the opposition has one or two of these players who stand out,and often make ordinary sides look half decent.
 
Samuelson is West Ham isn't he ?

Brilliant goal and excellent skills all round.

And yes we bring in jokes like Cofie.

Another department we never get right.
 
We had a good un in Conor Coady, but the thought of paying 300k for a lad with bags of potential scared us shitless, so we took the safe option and signed erm...... James Wallace.

I'm sick of people moaning about not signing Coady on a permanent deal.

We are a League One club
Huddersfield are a Championship club

He signed for a club in a higher division for fuck sake! He obviously thought it was a better move for his career to be playing in the Championship after proving he was clearly too good for League One and guess what? He was right!

When you talk bollocks I'll point it out, sorry if that upsets you. There is plenty of ammo to be used to slag off the club without bashing the club for missing out on signing players who went to clubs in higher divisions.

It doesn't upset me mate, its a forum. Hardly bashing the club either. If I wanted to do that I'd have plenty to go at other than coady. The point of the thread is that we don't get any good loan players, well he was one.
 
This annoys me too and it's something I thought Adkins would look closer at, maybe next year when we've cleared out the deadwood ;)

Harry Bunn and Michael O'Halloran were other shockers too
