Whether any of this is true or not, I think the time for KM to bow out is long overdue. He should at least relinquish decision making to a knowledgeable and respected football person.

He has put a ton of cash in over the years but other than the PL promotion has overseen failure, much of which (but not all)has been down to his poor decision making.

How on earth such a successful businessman can keep making succession upon succession of poor decisions is absolutely beyond me.

I don't write much on social media about the club as you know. Once in a while I comment on football and fans but having read some comments on Twitter and SUFC fan forums I feel the need to address the fans.Our 2 owners KM and the Prince had very positive meetings in Riyadh last week. They/we felt that we needed local influence in the board and that's why David and Martin were chosen. I am confident they will add value to the club on and off the field. Now good news for the fans who like us, James,Prince and I are here to stay. Rumors stating that we will abandon the club are false. Those who won't like us, I invite you to join us until May to make a run for promotion. We have a solid board and the right manager with an amazing reputation, we are al we've got for each other. Criticism helps but negativity doesn't. See you all very soon at the home of football.

How much say would Dooley have had? Was he involved in negotiations or deciding on which players to bring in?

I think it was always a case of backing the manager at times and being another football man in the boardroom.

As we know all too well the board seems to think it knows best and sometimes you need another voice on the football rather than just business side.

The deals will be done by the contracts/ commercial team I'd assume, but the football side i think Warnock used to get some support from Dooley.
