Anyone? I know it's probably been done done to death, and I'm not keeping up n all...but are there any in the knobers that know what's happened?

The club has done very well (so far) at keeping it all under wraps.

I heard he squeezed a present under't Christmas tree and got put on the naughty list  yhihf

I hope he got provable consent from the goat first, didn't run down the fire escape afterwards or share the goat with his best friend.

We really could do without another episode of the club being dragged through the mud by another player not treating his sexual partners with appropriate respect. I do hope Jose was sensible...

Nothing to worry about there. Allegedly seen feeding soda farls to Seagulls later that night.

All just a bit odd. Why does the club announce this, but no details as to why? Is something going to "come out" in the fullness of time? I suspect so.

It's not even remotely odd.

It's just absolutely, totally, completely, and utterly normal. It's SOP fffs.

Acknowledge that something has happened, then deal with it in house.

In the meantime creative/destructive fans can speculate and opine and use it as another stick to beat the club with.

It's the era of the "nu blade" these days. Moaning and gossiping like old women, singing generic songs like wednesday fans, complaining when Jim Phipps tweets he's abroad.

We used to have backbone, a bit of swagger and The Lane was a bear pit. Even when we were shit and getting 12,000. We used to have a massive banner saying "We Hate Wednesday". And we used to hate them. Now if you post an anti SWFC thread on here, people whinge that they couldn't care less about "them". Madness. Our players weren't the best, but they were in your face.

Sometimes I despair...! ;)

Gosh. That's me told isn't it!

As a fan it feels odd to me that we need to be told that a player is subject to disciplinary procedure, but don't need to be told why. Deal with it internally and there are no gossips like me attacking the club I love by merely speculating on a gossip forum.

The fact that the club feels we need to know they have taken action over "something" suggests to me there's more to come out.

Well, it's another stick Baxter with for some, including me. We pay them a fortune and they should be available. If it isn't ridiculous sendings off, it's drugs and now this.

I'm not blaming the club one bit, but Baxter is a twat that needs offloading.

I think he kicked a light or something and hurt his toe, that's what someone said on here. Something about a fight with an Accrington player too.

Couldn't agree more. There's no one seemingly at the club who understands what it means to be a Blade. I was desperate for Stoke to win the other night. We don't have much but semi final appearances are our domain.

We used to laugh at the thought of Megson taking new recruits to the top of Hillsborough kop to explain the virtues of their club and what it meant to him. Could you imagine Jim, Adkins, the Prince taking a youngster to the top of the Shoreham end and speak passionately about 'a quality goal from a quality player', about 'the night we beat Arsenal without a recognised keeper and Sky commentary couldn't be heard above the noise of the crowd,' about 'Oh My God, Oh my God' about 'only having 4 points at Christmas and beating Forest,' about 'the first Premier league goal', about 'Jimmy Dunne', about 'Shred' and so much more....

No. Neither can I. You know why? Because they haven't taken the time to try and understand us. We are different. Understand what we are about put that into practice on the pitch and then watch us fly. (Geese an' all)

Like you Rodley I despair.

Nige was so disappointed with training that he told Baxter that it needs doubling,Jose though he said Dublin,he then had a feight with an accy player, yep, that's about it

The ridiculous assertion was it was strange. It isn't at all.

Will "more come out" (like it's Watergate).Well given that nothing other than empty speculation has come out so far, this seems like a safe bet.

This is issue is almost literally a blank piece of paper on which you can't paint your particular prejudices, whether that's suspicion or support is up to you.

It's cost/benefit.

For me the sending off at Fulham was the final straw.

Since then he has scored, and is clearly playing with commitment and creativity, but...it's all relative.

I don't know what you do after the straw that broke the camel's back - maybe you flog a dead horse with it.

One day he might grow up into a professional footballer, till then maybe we get the most out of him we can but prioritise a replacement.
