I can't stand the site of your posts Barney.
You're just an attention seeker. It's childish and it brings down the quality of this forum.

However agree he's starting to lose touch regards someone of his interviews
However sometimes its best to take interviews with a pinch of salt.
Let's admit it, he has to be upbeat and positive on the outside.
In private he's probably concerned, feeling totally down and slagging off some of the players that deserve it. In public he's supporting his players and hoping for a return on his loyalty.

He's experienced with a fantastic track record so surely he knows what he's doing.
Apparently he had a fantastic 2nd half of the season at Southampton and that the only crumb of comfort I'm feeling at the moment.

I'm still getting over the newly invented fact whereby an opinion that isn't shared is automatically classed as attention seeking.

Why don't you put me on ignore? I can post my opinions, you don't see them, everyone's a winner.

Whilst the ignore button is there, you have no grounds to accuse me of anything.

That is my only criticism of that interview is that he is trying to justify Dean Hammond playing every match. I'd rather him admit Dean is not fit enough to play regularly but that won't happen.
 

Too much emphasis is placed on interviews. For "they are a great bunch", read "Higdon, Alcock, McNulty, Kennedy have been fucked off in the last month alone".

Performances and signings are fair game. I don't understand the fuss over interviews. As a man who clearly believes in positivity, he's not going to publicly slate his players. It.s difficult to listen to - so don't :)

I think Adkins should publish the stats on ground covered, tackles made, passes mad etc. The interviewer agreed Hammond was "excellent " in the second half, let's see the figures, why not?

I agree and actually think he always talks sense and does well to capture the key moments and phases of the game so soon after the final whistle.

I said when he arrived that he might be a bit sugary for us dour Sheffielders should results not go to plan but you're right Alfreton, what do we want?

A few good results to take the pressure of everybody I'd say. The interviews will be enjoyable then.

Looking at the next few games I can't see where the wins will come
 
Adkins sounds like a broken record. But it's an upbeat broken record which is what you'd expect in front of a camera and mic, even if our current predicament is eating him up inside and off camera.

Yeah, after Shrewsbury it's a tough run. Got to be winning on Tuesday - could see it extending to become a winless streak of maybe 9-10 games if not.

We're likely to be facing Barnsley at a bad time as well. Scunny look awful, as do Shrewsbury. We'll do well to get points from the rest, but this is a ridiculous club who will probably beat Wigan and lose to the Shrews

I'll tell you what I'm getting sick of. This club and some of its supporters. We lurch from one failure to the next with the same people in charge and the same clueless armchair managers trying to place the club's failings on the only person at the football club to have ever achieved anything in football worth shouting about.

Unless you're on the wind up (which is a distinct possibility) you have absolutely no idea what you're on about. The same goes for anyone else that really thinks it's logical to place blame at the feet of the manager.....you're talking utter utter drivel.

If I were Nigel I would turn around to the club and its supporters and say "thanks but I think I'll leave it, go and get another mug to scapegoat, it's not worth it".....I don't even know how they managed to recruit him. Unless he always had an ambition to work for the circus?

I didn't know the supporters were in charge of prioritising then executing incomings and outgoings, or just generally having any sort of clue when it comes to making important match day decisions. Take a look at yourself will you.

Ok Pat, you're obviously a Nigel Fan, so instead of having a go at those who are not so sure about where he's taking us, can you let us know what positives he's brought to our club. I've asked this question on numerous occasions and no one has yet come up with a single answer.
