Dose it really matter who he supports? The guy may have hit the nail very firmly on the head.
Spelling "does".

No accusation. I'm just asking. The way he referred to us as 'red and white friends' was a little odd, like someone might sarcastically refer to the pigs as 'our blue and white friends'.Who do you support?
How about laying off the accusations of non-support the moment someone criticises the manager?
My point exactly. He may well have done, and from his/her introduction it seems probable he/she is not a Blade. So the team supported may give context to their opinion. We have had Spurs, Sunderland and Worcester fans, amongst others, who can give insights based on observation and experience. So, no, maybe it doesn't matter, but it would be interesting.
And it's only you I'm accusing of being a pig. Because I think you are one.No accusation. I'm just asking. The way he referred to us as 'red and white friends' was a little odd, like someone might sarcastically refer to the pigs as 'our blue and white friends'.
Although I was asking him, not you.
Warnock had an infectious passion which Ive not seen anything of in Adkins, his prime attribute was being able to get players playing at 110% so I do think hed get much better results out of the current squad, Adkins style of footy seems slow and boring with lots of sideways passing and reminds me of Wier and Robson, Ive seen nothing to suggest hes going to be any good at SUFC and dont think hell last the season, roll on next year when Deano will no doubt get a crack at it
I'm not sure I'd want Deano to have a crack at it. I loved that bloke when he played for us. I'd hate to see him take over and do a Weir.Warnock had an infectious passion which Ive not seen anything of in Adkins, his prime attribute was being able to get players playing at 110% so I do think hed get much better results out of the current squad, Adkins style of footy seems slow and boring with lots of sideways passing and reminds me of Wier and Robson, Ive seen nothing to suggest hes going to be any good at SUFC and dont think hell last the season, roll on next year when Deano will no doubt get a crack at it

I'd rather we didn't gamble with one of our heroes though.Guess he has a little bit of experience managing on his own, unlike Weir, but no, I'd agree with you. However if it doesn't work out under Adkins, with all his experience and track record, then I'd say anything we do from there on is a massive gamble.
Why have you just edited my post?Told you.
If it doesn't work out under Adkins, like you say, in terms of manager recruitment, it's going to be pot luck.Guess he has a little bit of experience managing on his own, unlike Weir, but no, I'd agree with you. Edit; bad enough watching Morgan fail.
It's this kind of stupidity that causes the pressure for the club to sack managers willy nilly. A lot of the responsibility of where this club is lays with McCabe, but the fans have also played a part. The pressure to sack Wilson for instance. We wouldn't have ended up in this situation had we stuck with him
So, you rule out 2 LOW titles and 4 promotions, and judge him on a quarter of a season at a club where the previous 7 or 8 managers have failed to halt the decline.
It's often said how fans shouldn't be ignored because they know their stuff. However, you don't have to spend long on a message board to realise how so utterly fucking clueless so many are.

Going back to the £5 million loses every year and the claim that the Prince is keeping us alive. Maybe if we hadn't spunked £3m in fees for Sharp, Done, Coutts, Brayford and decided to pay them championship wages along with Sammon, Basham, Hammond, Edgar etc, we'd be self sufficient and a little more prudent in the transfer market.
Why have you just edited my post?
To edit it to that, you're starting to look quite amazing.
Which can't be judged on so few games. If he'd won the Premership ten times and two World Cups we still get 0 points for Saturday.
Fuck the past it's what he's doing now that counts.

Oh, should have said earlier. I could have told you how to do it.I've just learnt how to edit posts.
Wasn't sure whether to like that or cry.did a bit better the second time though, stopped the rot. He could be the cheap option they go for next if it goes pear shaped this season.
Did you learn how to do it on Porktalk?Oh, should have said earlier. I could have told you how to do it.
Yes, but what he's done in the past should give us enough evidence that he has what it takes to do something in the future meaning he should get more time. Where as Clough on the other hand didn't have or never has had what it takes to achieve our goal as proved by his past.If he'd won the Premership ten times and two World Cups we still get 0 points for Saturday.

What you and many people are suggesting is that C.V's in football shouldn't be needed and should be ignored, i totally disagree and when you look at what Clough had done previously, he wasn't needed for Sheffield United, a team that needed promotion from League One, he has never done it. Now, i'm not saying he will never achieve this but the odds are firmly stacked against him. Adkins has achieved this and deserves the chance to do so with us.
