Basham's Height?

I realise this is not the most important thread on here, but just wondered if someone could put me straight on this.

In the past, many of us commented (complained) about the lack of height in the team, especially last season when Basham was in the back four and we had Scougall, Holt and Doyle in midfield.

Just noticed on the official SUFC site, that Basham is listed at 5ft 11" tall?

Whereas his Wiki page has him at 6ft 3!

Now I know that anyone can edit Wikipedia, but that is a four inch discrepancy? Is Bash really under 6ft tall?
That would make Coutts an inch taller?

It got me wondering, if our site is correct, then no wonder most other teams seem to dwarf us on the pitch! According to the club site, Baxter, Done and McNulty are all taller than Billy Sharp, Collins is 3 inches taller than Woolford and Connor Sammon is only 5ft 10! (6ft 2" on Wikipedia)

I’d be surprised if any of those are more than an inch out. We could actually put out a pretty big team these days but we’d have to sacrifice some pace and guile with players like JCR and Baxter missing out to the likes of Woolford and Sammon.

Maybe that accounts for the difference.

*Over the course of the day gravity gradually compresses your spine. It's only 1 - 2cm but it's a measurable difference.

Feet and Inches are so yesterday.

All player heights are set by Bergen Blade in the Shawcross scale.

I was surprised at how big a difference it makes if you measure your height (length) laying down compared to standing up. Laid down, I am over 6"5 but stood up I'm under 6"4. Damn that gravity.

Still don't think Bash is heavy enough to lose 4 inches over the course of a day.

I would say that Bash is around 6' 3", Im 6' 2" and Bash is a little bigger than i am.
