Is anyone expecting an aftermath on Saturday?

There was trouble at after Worksop v Tadcaster the other night ,seriously ,the away teams supporters were ambushed after the game in a crowd of just under 900.
Millwal fans also came to Worksop a couple of years ago for trouble ,I think it was Carshalton.

Me and my mate saw that only there were two other blokes (40s) stood holding him up. South Yorkshires finest were also in attendance

Ah yeah the two holding must of been older than I thought, reckon the old codgers took a dive and didn't know what was going on.

There would have been an organised meet.

However, West Ham haven't really got big numbers anymore.

Spurs have the largest firm in the capital & are very active. There was quite a lot of trouble at their recent League Cup game with Arsenal.

There's always trouble at London derbies - even at Palace v Charlton in the League Cup recently.

Spurs kicked off more than Millwall did today when we met them in the cup last season. I got caught up in it on my way home, police thinking i was a Spud.

Funny that, went to the Worksop-Tadcaster match last season and there was trouble on the terraces during the second half.

Was impressed with your support today, very loud and that 'wall of sound" chant that went on for quite a while...liked that too, haven't heard that before and it gets under the skin after a few mins , good luck for the rest of the season.
I think I remember that noise the first time (is it just a really long drawn out waaaaaaaaallllllll?) from going to Hillsboro, don't judge me, as a kid in the 80's when Teddy Sheringham and co played there. I remember thinking, a, bramall lane is better, b, we had to drive past bramall lane to get here, which arse hole end of town have you brought me too. And finally c, what is that strange humming noise coming from my right. . . . It may have been a different game but I remember away fans at Hillsboro taking the piss pre roof on their kop singing "it's pissing it down and you're getting wet, we're not, we're not" - when did they put the roof on?

It got a little tasty at the entrance to Bramall Lane after the match but apart from that didn't see any actually trouble. However there was one incident that slightly troubled me, after the game me and mate where walking past the Decathlon where a Elderly man shouted to us and others "Help, these two are knocking me about!", we looked and we saw the elderly man with the two younger men (late twenties, early thirties) who had their arms around him, as if they where arresting him, there was no obvious struggle or robbery going on, what a stupid place to try to mug someone. We looked at him and he said "They are!", on balance we and others decided to leave it as it just looked like a trap or a wind up, Just wondering if anyone else saw it?

Oddly, there was a robbery outside Decathlon just a few months ago. A bizarre story where a woman in her mid 70s had her car keys stolen and car taken.
I heard that her husband went back today and saw the offenders, confronted them, was over powered but hat the Sheffield public refused to help him fearing that Dom Joly and a man dressed as a squirrel would come out and film them

So having a good day out with good friends is pathetic
You want to try it and leave your flask and sandwiches at home.
Life is not a dummy run fella.
Exactly, which is why having s fight with opposition fans isn't too high on my bucket list. I like a good day out with friends, doesn't usually involve a punch up.

And battling is not on my agenda so you was just presuming.

I've never met NorthYorksBlade but I wonder how she would react to being told life is not a dummy run fella!!!!!

I questioned someone else. You came in with an opinion. If you give your opinion and someone tests that opinion by countering, then was it you who was 'looking for an argument'?
No reason to get pissed off.
Enjoy the game.
Telling me to "go and introduce myself to my friends' when I've made it clear that I have very little personal knowledge of Millwall fans, that my view is based on nothing more than my own perceptions, that I'm no expert, isn't 'testing my opinion'.
You're saying that if I offer an opinion it's me that's looking for an argument. No, I'm happy to discuss other people's opinion but I'm not really sure what yours is. You asked a question, I offered my opinion, made it clear it was just my opinion based on my own limited experiences and you responded with some glib, loaded questions like a condescending schoolteacher.
That isn't what I'd consider 'debate'.
I've nothing more to say on the subject.

It was January 84 when we played Birmingham in the Cup. Wednesday were at home on the same day and the Tramway landlord was at Hillsborough. About 20 minutes into the game the tannoy announcer asked for the Tramway landlord and then announced that his pub had been smashed up by Sheffield United fans, which got a laugh from the crowd.
This is the only time that I can remember a group of away fans getting in a pub on London Road and I've never heard this about Millwall fans before your post (no offence pal!!).
I'm referring to an earlier event. I was out of work in 84 and couldn't afford to go to games, having just left school and no longer being able to use my Junior Blades membership. So I definitely didn't see it in 84.
I'm 100% sure it was either 82 or 83 and I'm 95% sure it was Millwall.

There are certain clubs I dislike, pigs, wolves and a couple more.
Millwall is a club I would like to see do well. A unfashionable club in very tough area, they never will be an easy crowd. In the 80s I used to go to SE London a lot, my sister lived there, I used to use New Cross and New Cross Gate stations, I was always watching my back down there, muggings on the train station even at 9am in the morning.

Yep, I don't get the hate for Millwall. Anyone who hates West Ham as much as they do is hard to dislike in my eyes. Plus the 'ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' is pretty cool.

Again if you offer an opinion it is allowed to be tested.
You seem to suggest that once you offer it but say that you have little knowledge, but have met a few who were ok, that I cannot challenge you.
I really don't want to meet any based on my experience and other info.
Sorry you took offence. Fine I acceptyou don't class any of them as friends and sat with the Blades at the game. Did you see any of the trouble after the game yesterday?
