Today wasn't shite , but it could have been a lot lot better . Adkins knows better than me how to sort it , but i would say consistency , discipline , and quality we seem to lack from player to player , week to week. We scatched our heads and to be fair Adkins was scratching his .

It is a bit like last season .

LS2 . Agree but i do not know the answer and to be fair to Adkins , and club , quick fix actions / solutions do not always work or bring added benefit . A bit like sacking managers.

I said a couple of weeks ago , Adkins still hasnt sorted his best 11 or formation , and sorry to say he is winging it .

Today IMO was no differant , that could be the problem.

It's going to be, we've still got a lot of last year's players. Most people said before the start of the season we weren't good enough for automatic promotion so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that we're sixth.

Don't think he has a clue how to sort the midfield - Clough had a thing about Scoogs, now it seems Adkins does.
Adkins is still searching for a solution with no apparent formula or pattern emerging.

I heard Toytowns new manager saying on the TV tonight that he needs to QUICKLY sort a team that plays and a style to suit them............hello Mr Adkins - what the fuck have you been doing all summer and in the first quarter of the season. For me he is still no closer - there is clear parallels with Clough last season - albeit in different areas.

I have lost count oh how many people say we need a strong core - CD & CM - perhaps we should ALL fuck off to Meadowhall and leave these know ALL managers to keep putting out Sheff Utd teams that are crap in key areas.

It's happened all season long, out played, out muscled and even against 10 today, we never truly dominated the game.

Going to Oldham last season was depressing enough - sounded about the same today.
