Will Adkins walk away from the Blades?

Pressure wise I honestly believe it's one of the toughest managerial positions in the country.
While the board aren't trigger happy they seem very ambitious, I wouldn't be surprised if he's give ONE season to get us promoted.
As for the fans, it's fair to say we are a demanding bunch. Rightly so, we shouldn't be getting best at grounds where our away supposed make up almost half of the attendance. I also believe(and I'm not saying this is our fault in anyway) we can become a negative and disgruntled at home games really fast and almost make it harder for the team.
All that said, we have a big wage bill, we have plenty of experienced players, a huge following, and the stature that you would expect to attract the better players in this league.
I think the negatives make it a highly pressured job but I also think the positives that I've listed also makes it a very doable one.
Nigel knew what he was getting into, I don't think he'll be a beaten man this early in the season!

Adkins is a winner and likes a challenge.

Unlike some of our fans on here there's no way he would ever walk away.
We need people like Adkins at the club
Still plenty of time yet

1) He's certainly got a challenge. starting to wonder if he happened upon a group of kids at Southampton who just happened to be future internationals and our lass could have taken them up. they soon dumped him when he had to kick on as did Reading?
2) How fans don't walk away, 21K turn to watch this shite and whilst I don't condone the trouble they fight at Port Vale even after having the piss took by over paid tossers. Don't ever blame the fans.
3) Can't even identify we need centre halves, perhaps his CV was printed on some of the Princes bog roll?
4) We're 16 points off automatic target after 11 games, that's 65 points short over a season, WAKE UP.

Adkins is not and never will be a broken man , but like us , he will be annoyed , that the players do not listen or now he fully realises , they are not good enough in pace , athletic , mental , physical attributes . No movement on Hammond and Burn . Bet they will be next week.

How do you know this? Maybe Adkins has been provided the funds he needs but doesn't want to waste the money like Clough did

If he has the funds he needs and we need to score three goals to win a game then I despair.

He needs to be given 2-3 seasons. Even if he doesn't get us up, he has to be given the opportunity to clear out the deadwood in January and over the summer.

We can't keep changing the manager all the time and we won't get a better one.
