I do really like Dack, he's a quality player - Not so sure he is the kind of player we are in the most need of, but if he's an option - You don't turn down a player that will improve the quality of your squad.

Would be an intriguing acquisition
Would it mean the end of Baxter?
Has Basham been found out to be less of a box to box attacking midfielder (which he isn't) and better at Cenre Half - which he is?
Do we take it that J-Wall is struggling to make the grade after that long injury lay off?
Would Gillingham really want to sell their prize asset to a fellow league 1 contender?
Will he be seen as the replacement for Murphy and what does that do for JCR?
 
Just to stress though. Dack is a rumour. I personally haven't been told it's Dadk, although I've been told a signing will be made tomoz or Wednesday

Now that I would love to see! It may seem strange, but I'd rather Dack than Byrne if he was to play out wide.
 
If we sign Dack we couldn't have asked for a better transfer window in terms of attacking players. I know some think he's over-hyped but if we can get him for a reasonable price it's a real statement of intent.

That said I find it hard to believe there's no Championship clubs sniffing around. If there is we probably don't have much chance. Gillingham would presumably rather sell to another division, Dack would rather go up a level and we'd struggle to compete financially.

But I'll be delighted if it comes off.

Either way he comes to us or goes out of the division so not playing against us anymore

Would be too much of a clever signing for our club to sign Dack.

It'll be some never heard of Championship reject no doubt.

Well I for one hope the signing is a centre half. Altho murphs has gone we are still stronger out wide with Adams, jcr, flynny woolford etc than we are in the middle at the back.

Collins is injured and imo not up to it anyway, mceverly is dodgy and Kennedy will be restricted by his knees leaving just Edgar and Basham...who I feel is better at the back. If we could add Turner or someone similar I think that would be the best outcome from this transfer window
