To anyone who went today, aside from the embarrassing defeat, how did Sharp get on?

Are there any glimmers of hope there?

Completely out muscled by defenders who held him at every opportunity, a pre match tactic which they got away with due to a very poor referee.
Certainly not the Billy I saw on a video when he played under NA at Southampton.

Yes. Er.. I mean he's absolutely oozing with Bladey Bladeness. He's been a Blade since before he was born. If you cut him with a knife, he'd bleed red and white. Ok, so you'd have to look at his blood under a microscope to see the white bits but that doesn't mean they aren't there.... officer..... I was just trying to prove a point, honestly. No, I don't understand what you mean by 'wounding with intent'. He'll rip this league a new one m'lud, just you wait and see. This is a nice cardigan but the sleeves are a bit long. Why are you tying them around the back? Nice room, love the padded wallpaper, very 1970's retro....

Impossible to tell really, he had no service. Which should have been expected when we started with effectively no midfield, then got even less midfield when Baxter came off at half time, and Sammon bizarrely spent most of his time out wide

He perhaps made the mistake of clapping the efforts of one of his team-mates in the spirit of encouragement... the twat.

IMO it was impossible to gauge the performance of any of the front players due to the complete lack of any service they received.

Didn't take long for the twats to turn on Billy. Must be his fault

According to the idiots in front of me everything was George's fault. Mind you I got told I didn't know what I was talking about having not seen United play in the dark days of the 70's.

We lost yesterday because we were out muscled by a big athletic team who'd done their homework on us. If they couldn't outmuscle they held, tripped, fell, writhed around and went in with some vety meaty challenges. They looked up for it like a Bassett or a Warnock team. The ref decided to let things go. It looked like 4th form v 6th form at times. I'm surprised Higdon wasn't brought on to even up the fight a bit.

They were cocks. The 70's weren't all dark. I watched the best football I've ever seen a blades team play in the 70's. Just because some of us have seen more football than others, it doesn't mean we know more. Some people do my head in.
