Head of recruitment Lee Turnbull should be very busy and working overtime now to identify at least 2 good centre halves and a decent goalkeeper at the very least.
There must be a fair few players that can be loaned from prem or championship clubs that can do a good job for us at the back in this league.
He is supposed to have good contacts at home and abroad apparently.

I think bringing back Magiure would be a good start, we just haven't replaced him yet. I know it might be unlikely but he isn't getting games and is being wasted by Hull, I would love us to at last attempt them with a bid.

Its so bloody obvious we have needed a good keeper, 2 strong centre backs and a right back and a strong central midfielder since the start of last season
Its embarrassing but the pigs have shown us how it should be done, they didn't mess about they got loads in, started with centre back recruitment etc etc
Phipps and Adkins should take a long hard look at themselves, showboating about with management slogans when they should have been wheel and dealing

It doesn't matter. Scunthorpe's recruitment is probably been better than ours. It wouldn't hurt to use Warnock's method of signing lots of strong players from other local teams. e.g.
Morsy from Chesterfield, Zayate from the pigs, Winall from Barnsley. Or even players who play well against us Grant from Crewe, Henderson from Rochdale etc
A massive clearout is needed.

Yes that could be a stumbling block and the reason i've suggested on other posts that it will be difficult to do in 3 weeks.

I'm on the fence with this one. There are simply no foundations at the back to build the rest of the team on. And so the midfield suffers massively as they're consistently suffering due to the mess at the back. While we have players of the quality of Wallace, Bash, Reed, Cuvelier, Scoogs etc, I want us to sort the issues from the back forward. And Baxter is not nor ever will be a central midfielder. We have a wealth of options in there, so why the fuck are we still putting square pegs in round holes?

I like Jose, put he has no place in this side I'm afraid and we should recoup some money while we can.
