NA has said they've been watching DVD from last season's games and yet he's started with 4 of the back 5 we all realise aren't good enough. We have a CM without a player to dominate it.

Clean slates are one thing but shockingly the same players are making the same errors.

I honestly can't understand why he's not brought in at least 1 CB by this stage. It's so obvious to anyone who has watched us play last season.

The only explanation I can think of is that he has no money to spend. Otherwise, what has he been waiting for? Miracles?

Trying is not good enough. That's the same line Clough used to use. It's not hard to improve our defence.

We're carrying a squad of well in excess of 30 players, I'd be surprised if less than a half of those had been signed under the new board in the last 2 years, several from the division above. Chuck in a new pitch, upgrading of all the academy pitches, new dugouts, all with fuck all TV revenue. How much more do you want from a L1 board mate? Our wage bill must be astronomical.

Basham is going to have go and play back there next week and we are going to have to risk the highly breakable Wallace in midfield from the start.

The wage bill, granted should've been addressed at management level.

But the fact is that no other League 1 board would have the luxury of spending money on a Desso pitch or academy upgrades and dugouts. Our one and only goal should be assembling a playing squad to escape this division. When that is achieved, you can work on the infrastructural stuff.
